19th century monument beside the Arevalo Church
Located beside the Arevalo (Villa) church, a Spanish monument stands with a crown placed atop of it. Although it is now in a unglorifying state, it holds a deep meaning because it symbolizes unity of all Spaniards under the symbol of the crown an important testimony to a common past between Spain and the Philippines through the Catholic Faith, as brought by Hispanic Missionaries.
The crown is an enlarged version, of a grand crown dug by a farmer near the Arevalo church. It is of rare size with a scepter made from an expensive metal and a cross made of a hard and rare material.
