Since my first visit to Iloilo I have wished that the people in the Philippines would wake-up to the wealth of history they have... here in america a historically rich site like this would be covered in tourist awaiting a guided tour so they could learn things like the banks money was once under the bedroom floorboard. Here people pay good money for such things. There is also the World War Two history of the Philippines which could if handled correctly draw tourist from all over the world. I live in Louisville, Kentucky home to the famous baseball bat manufacturing company. You wouldn't believe how far people will travel to watch a chunk of wood be made into a bat. We also have the "Kentucky Derby" a horse race that even the Queen of England and other world leaders have come to see.
Reply | <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('47083','Paul','Since my first visit to Iloilo I have wished that the people in the Philippines would wake-up to the wealth of history they have... here in america a historically rich site like this would be covered in tourist awaiting a guided tour so they could learn things like the banks money was once under the bedroom floorboard.
