To accommodate the growing demand for places to stay in Iloilo, a few hotels and pension houses have started construction in Iloilo city this year namely: Urban Inn, Moritz Hotel, and D’Arthur’ Suites.
4 hotels more have already opened earlier this year.
Moritz Hotel (6 floors) – located along Burgos St. (Jaro) in near the Central Philippine University (CPU) campus.
Urban Inn (4 floors) – located along Luna St. (La Paz) near the Western Institute of Technology (WIT) campus.
D’ Arthur’ Suites (4 floors) – located along General Luna St. (City Proper) beside the former Mama Maria’s Restaurant.
The other hotels that have opened already so far this year include:
Centennial Resort Hotel and Convention Center
and Riverside Inn
They’re Bacolod-based and I’ve ate there. Nice pizza. Problem is the price and time in serving the food…that’s all.

Chy, what happened to Mama Maria’s? Bankrupt? If so, sayang! Namit pa pizza nila..kaso mahal kag dugay mag serve..nami pa tani location nila.
