Thank you for your interest in being a contributor for ExploreIloilo.com. Follow these steps:

Register here: http://www.exploreiloilo.com/wp-login.php?action=register (Ignore message: A Password will be mailed to you automatically)
Contact me that you’ve already registered and wait until I change your account status to contributor.

The first thing you might want to do is change you profile. Click the “profile” link at the top right corner of your dashboard

Personal Options: Choose anything you prefer
First Name + Last Name: Optional, Will appear at the footer of every page and on the “About Us” page
Nickname: Required
Display name publicly as: Will appear in the home page and “About Us” page
E-mail: Will not be shown publicly
Website: Required
AIM / Yahoo IM / Yahoo IM: Optional
Biographical Info: Required, Will appear in “About Us” page
Your Photo: Required, Will appear in post footer and “About Us” page

Writing a Post:

Just go to “Write” and go ahead type in your Title and Post
If you’re finished just click “Submit for Review.” You don’t have to bother with tags and categories, I’ll be the one to modify that.
After you have submitted your post, I’ll just review it and schedule the post so that it will be published. Typically, I publish posts on MWF 3:00PM (Philippine Time) with 2 articles max. Better contact me also, preferably through cell phone (txt is fine), so that I’ll be notified immediately
You can see if your post has been scheduled in the Dashboard or Manage page

Earning through your posts:
If you have a Google Adsense account, you can get your ads to be displayed in your posts. If you don’t have a Google Adsense account, you can get one by registering at http://www.google.com/adsense.
