Aside from the giant cross, there has also been a significant development in the poblacion area of San Joaquin. First was the restoration of the San Joaquin Cemetery, then the completion of its new Municipal Hall, beautification of its town plaza, and now the major roads in the poblacion are also being improved.

San Joaquin is also preparing for the centennial celebration of the municipality jan.11-17..it’s a town fiesta..100 yrs..of separation from the town of Miagao…you can see the beauty of the plaza at night when the lights are on..this is a big celebration and our group fr. new york mostly from san joaquin took the time to be there..

Though my mother is from San Joaquin I never had the chance to live there but I have fond memories of my short visits to this peaceful town. I am so happy to see that San Joaquin has improved so much. Thanks to the townfolks and town officials who did their best to make it so beautifuly grand! Keep up the good work and more power.

. I am proud to be a San Joaquinhon. .me, my classmates and my teachers visit San Joaquin last August 18, 2011. .we are the Tourism students of West Visayas State University. I am happy that my classmates was amazed of our historical church and of course our cemetery. .Congartulations to the Municipal Officials headed by our Municipal Mayor, Mayor Ninfa Serag Garin. .Keep up the good work. .I am really proud to be a San Joaquinhon. .thumbs up!
