
The long wait is finally over. Millions of spectators in Iloilo and around the globe (thanks to ABS-CBN’s live coverage) got to see the world class performances of 16 participating tribes in the Dinagyang Ati Competition last Sunday. The Dinagyang Ati is the main highlight of the Dinagyang Festivals, wherein competing tribes composed of dark-brown colored warriors perform highly choreographed dances to the fast paced beat of drums and paying homage to the child Jesus by shouting “Viva, Viva! Senyor Santo Nino!.” Here are the pictures and videos of the Dinagyang Ati Tribes:

The Champion of the Dinagyang Ati Competition was awarded P100,000 cash prize, the chance to vie for the Aliwan Fiesta (Festivals of Festivals) in Manila and the opportunity to represent Iloilo in various national and international festivals and events. See the Dinagyang 2010 Results.
