The Dinagyang 2008 was a big success! Approximately 1.5M people reportedly came to Iloilo to witness the best tourism event in the Country (as awarded by the Association of Tourism Officers of the Philippines for two consecutive years).     I wasn’t able to watch the Ati competition but the pictures’ awesome i can feel the spirit of Dinagyang. Congrats to the winners! Hope they could make it to the Aliwan Festival!

    Thanks Gladita, I didn’t know of it until a friend told me. It came so unexpected.

    Of course you can borrow the pictures, provided the watermark and credits are not cropped out.

    I’m an alumni of INHS and and I would also want to watch Bola-bola during the Dinagyang in the years ahead, they made such a great impact to the festivity.

    Congrats marcos, i was quite happy for you when i heard your site being acknowledged as one of the media sponsors. Anyway, can I borrow some of your photos for my blog? Will give you credit and link of course.

    I can’t decide between Paghida-et and Ilonganon. Both deserves to win. I think Tribu Bola-Bola has brought Dinagyang to a different level when they joined. I remember looking forward to every Dinagyang from then on. It’s a pity they no longer join. It’s good that every Dinagyang is better than the last. Congrats to the winners, the organizers, and to all Ilonggos.
