Dinagyang 2007 Circle of Winners

Once again, crowds were awestruck at the performance of the tribes competing in the Kasadyahan and Ati Competitions during the recently concluded Dinagyang Festival. Truly, no other festival can match the choreography and synchronized fast-paced movements of Dinagyang tribes as they dance to the intense beating of the drums. People who’ve witnessed the Dinagyang through the years agree that the quality of the performances have improved, even the judges themselves admit that it was a though decision to choose this year’s winners.

Dinagyang 2007 Ati Competition Results

Even with the improved performance of the other tribes, Tribu Ilonganon remain the champion of the Dinagyang Ati Competition held on January 28, 2007. Their performance was much celebrated by the audience as they showcased a fresh and creative concept to the competition.

Final and Official Results for Dinagyang 2007 Kasadyahan:

Santa Barbara’s Tribu Kahilwayan was proclaimed as the over-all champion during this year’s Kasadyahan Competition, displacing the title from Tribu Tultugan of Maasin. The much applauded, Tribu Kahilwayan was able to capture the intense drama and emotions of the “revolutionarios”, as they reeneact their town’s history and significance during the struggle for Philippine Independence against Spain.
