The Dingle Catholic Church was built in 1886. This church of Baroquial style is made of limestone from Bulabog Mountain, painstakingly carried by the early parishioners through narrow, steep and dangerous trails to the present site.

The Dingle Catholic Church remains a landmark of Dingle and a symbol of human ingenuity.

How to Get There
Dingle can be accessed by Jeepney. The Jeepneys bound for Dingle can be found at the Tagbak Terminal in Jaro and Jaro Plaza, in front of Ledi Supermart.

Happy Fiesta!!!!!
elow sa mga tga Dingle, mlapit na fiesta jn ah, how i really missed it….mabuhay yah mga Dingleanon.
this church can never be forgotten…stand as our guardian and foundation of our very own faith..the Roman Catholic faith of my beloved kasimanwa.. the Dingleanon. buligan ta kag pauswagon ang aton simbahan kag ang aton banwa. mag binuligay kag suportahan…
i simply love our church bisan ari malang ko sa iloilo. dingleanons come & go but she is always there to welcome us everytime magsulod na kita sa banwa. she always move me to tears how our ancestors made her. dapat during fiesta ma-include man sa pagpangamuyo ang tanan nga pumuluyo nga nagpatigayon tukod sng simbahan. kun indi sa ila wala sya subong. a beautiful memoir, painful but glorious era. to tas causing ganiyu-your old house at muyco st. is a reflection of 1960′s era, kanuyon hay way dun may nagatake care gid abi. musta ang utod mo nga si tweety?i was 10-12 yrs old, siya at that time mga 20-22 na, my idol kay kun magsimba gani class & beauty gid upod si mommy mo & ang laon (forgive me). classmate na si inday majella, marella nga nurses man. hope you could visit dingle again!
i like the antiquity of the church…
but the flaming red canopy doesnt fit!!
who is the designer? does it match the age/era of the church?
and the lamp posts– the blue top is like an icing on the cake..
comment lang.

Hi Neighbors, The picturisque and impressive sight brings back happy memories for me. I was baptized in this church went to Mater Carmeli just left of it. there was a small library to it’s left that I frequent. I would hop my way to school and back in front of it everyday till college. I’m a true blue Dingle-anon, of the Espino /Muyco family.
my beloved town of dingle, how much did it change since i left, the plaza lagoon, it’s became a paradise on earth how i wish i could come home soon for i missed my people and my beloved municipality
