I dream that one day i’ll be coming home to witness the beautiful scenery of my hometown that i once savored as a kid,until teen age.I was here confined in the place away from my real home.I”ve learned,embraced and love the culture of my current town,yet my first love is still the town of duenas.
i miss the lavish greenery that dominate the church entrance,the church where i poured out my heart out to the man i married. Everytime i look up to see the the rich design of the church, i feel like i’m taken back to the spanish era. The church reflect the rich influence of spaniards to our architecture and religion.
Most of all,i miss the people that thrive in duenas.Especially my family,relative,friends and former klasmates. All those scenery is useless without the loving people of duenas. They always warm my heart when i’m home,not to mention the bonding moments i experience with all those around me. i miss the foods,games,noise and chitchating with my neighbors. Oh my beloved duenas, my heart is crying to be home once again. “i may live my life away from home,but my heart will never get that far from you my beloved hometown”

noel, taga diin timo sa duenas? ano mo si nong benny jocson? classmate tamon ni betty kag usting sa hs. sa duenas ako last month, may namatyan kami sa familia. diya gali ako sa texas naga nursing, lapit na magretire. musta nalang sa imo. lapit na fiesta ta sa duenas.

Congratulations and thanks to all the people of dueñas for preserving our greatest pride…, our Church! It is indeed the same church 33 years ago. I am very proud to be a dueñasanon. Ang gugma sang GINOO ara sa aton tanan.

This is my beloved hometown that I miss very very much. I am proud to be called Duenasanon. I long forward to seeing this place again also my family, friends and kababata. The improvement is tremendously impressive. MABUHAY!

so surprised that somebody feels the same way i felt.just visited the church and the very good friend of mine fr. cabalum recently and i cant help but to thank GOD that i saw a piece of heaven on earth….the adoration room a sanctuary! especially.
