This is probably the first time in more than 50 years that a storm has damaged Iloilo in this magnitude. I don't know with the seaport but the Iloilo Airport is already fully functional. The local government is doing everything they can to help the families displaced by the storm. They have already placed Iloilo in a state of calamity to hasten the access to calamity funds.
