The inspiration of Tribu Ilahas’ performance is the Tinu-om, a famous local dish, based on local ingredients like tomatoes, onions, tanglad or Lemon Grass and most notably – native chicken. The performers mimic the movement of the chicken, blending it with theatrical and musical forms.
Tribu Ilahas of Cabatuan finished as the 2nd placer in this year’s Dinagyang Festival Kasadyahan competition.

The Kasadyahan Competition is one of the main highlights of the Dinagyang Festival. The dance competition features the history and culture of the various towns of Iloilo.

pinagbigyan lang. pero nami.
napirde anf tultugan kay puro hand movements… wala gawa footwork. manami ang ilahas kay nag improve ila performance since nag join sila last 2005. ^_^ tribu landing pa dati ang name nga guin gamit, pero sa tiring national high school man guihapon. although, mas baskog ang music sang tultugan tulad. grabe. goosebumps guid everytime lantawon ko! as in!
