Tagbak Terminal

Tagbak Terminal is a popular transit point for Boracay-bound tourists. Daily Ceres buses ply the Iloilo to Caticlan route. From Caticlan, Boracay is just a 10 minute ferry ride away. Buses that go to Manila, Kalibo (Aklan), Roxas City (Capiz), and Northern Iloilo town are also stationed at Tagbak Terminal. Located along McArthur Highway in Jaro district, Tagbak Terminal is the largest terminal in Iloilo. Aside from buses, there are also jeepneys and (L300) commuter vans stationed at Tagbak Terminal.

Iloilo to Boracay (via Caticlan) Bus

Boracay is approx. 5 hours away from Iloilo City. The first leg of the trip is “Caticlan” bus ride from Tagbak Terminal. All of the buses will pass by Kalibo, Aklan after 3 hours of travel. Boracay Island is just 10 minutes away from the Caticlan Jetty Port.

  • Bus Schedule – 3:30am, 6:00am, 7:00am,8:00am, 10:30am,12:00nn, 1:00pm for aircon buses / 3:00am, 4:00am,6:00am,8:00am9:15am, 11:00am for non-aircon buses.

How to Get to Tagbak Terminal from the Iloilo Airport

Iloilo to Manila Bus 

Several Manila-bound buses depart from Tagbak Terminal daily. These buses go aboard RORO (roll-on roll-off) ferries to complete the land and sea commute to Manila. The whole trip usually takes 18 hours and costs P1,100 to P1,400.

How to Get to Tagbak Terminal -  taxi fare from Iloilo City Proper is approx. P150. Commuters can ride a Leganes jeepney from Jalandoni St.-Diversion Road intersection (across SM City Iloilo) in Mandurriao District or Jaro Liko Tagbak jeepneys, which pass by Jaro Plaza or Bonifacio Drive (fronting the Iloilo Provincial Capitol) in the city proper.

Iloilo Airport to Tagbak Terminal – taking the taxi between the Iloilo Airport and Tagbak Terminal is expensive since driver usually ask for a contracted price of P400 to P500. The cheaper alternative is to take the airport shuttle to SM City Iloilo first (P50 fare).

Ungka Terminal

Ungka Terminal serves jeepneys and commuter vans bound for Central Iloilo towns and Tapaz, Capiz. The terminal is located at the boundary of Jaro, Iloilo City and Pavia town.  To get to Ungka Terminal, ride a “Jaro CPU Ungka” from Jaro Plaza or along Iznart St. in downtown Iloilo City.

Mohon Terminal serves jeepneys bound for Southern Iloilo towns. The terminal is located at the boundary of Arevalo, Iloilo City and Oton town. Commuters can get to the Mohon Terminal by riding an Oton / Oton Derecho jeep at the intersection of M.H. del Pilar St., Molo District and Diversion Road (the intersection is better known as “stoplight”). Passengers could also ride the southbound jeepneys at the Iloilo Terminal Market (better known as “super”) in Downtown Iloilo City (near Robinsons Place) or just ahead Molo Supermarket in Molo District Plaza.
