The ferry route between Bacolod City and Iloilo is one of the busiest in the Philippine archipelago. There are multiple trips daily traveling between these two cities. Taking the 1-hour fastcraft is the fastest and most convenient option. The fastcrafts depart from Muelle Loney (Iloilo River Wharf) in Iloilo City and BREDCO Port in Bacolod City.
An alternative is traveling by RORO, which takes around 2 hours. If taking the RORO ferries, docking area is still at BREDCO Port in Bacolod. Guimaras Island is just 15-minutes away from Iloilo City Proper by pumpboat (motorized outrigger boat). The RORO ferries at Dumangas goes to Bacolod City, Negros Occidental. From there, you can ride a bus to (either) San Carlos City or Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, where you can ride another ferry to cross over to Cebu Island.
