Bacolod to Iloilo
The ferry route between Bacolod City and Iloilo is one of the busiest in the Philippine archipelago. There are multiple trips daily to travel between these two cities. Taking the 1-hour fastcraft is the fastest and most convenient option. The fastcrafts depart from Muelle Loney (Iloilo River Wharf) in Iloilo City and BREDCO Port in Bacolod City. Docking area of fastcrafts in Iloilo City may soon be transferred across the river to the Lapuz District side. An alternative is traveling by RORO, which takes around 2 hours. If taking the RORO ferries, docking area is still at BREDCO Port in Bacolod. In Iloilo, the RORO Ferries dock at Dumangas Port, which is located 30 minutes away from Iloilo City Proper. Guimaras Island is just 15-minutes away from Iloilo City Proper by pumpboat (motorized outrigger boat). Pumpboats bound for Jordan, the capital town of Guimaras, dock at Ortiz Port in Downtown Iloilo. Alternatively, pumpboats bound for Buenavista, Guimaras are docked at Parola Port. Parola Port is located at the mouth of the Iloilo River near Fort San Pedro and the Iloilo Domestic Port. Plans are underway to build an integrated (Iloilo-Guimaras) ferry terminal at the old Rotary Park site located beside Parola Port. Fare for the Iloilo – Guimaras pumpboat is P13 per passenger. There’s also a RORO service between Iloilo City and Jordan Port, Guimaras. The RORO ferry terminal is located at the Lapuz side of the Iloilo River Wharf.

The RORO ferries at Dumangas goes to Bacolod City, Negros Occidental. From there, you can ride a bus to (either) San Carlos City or Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, where you can ride another ferry to cross over to Cebu Island.
