Iloilocityboy talks about Sicogon

Posted by Explore Iloilo

Before Boracay attained international renown, Sicogon Island in Iloilo used to be a favorite destination of tourists. Situated at the north-westernmost part of Panay, Sicogon is part of the Higantes group of islands which is under the territorial jurisdiction of Carles, a small 4th class municipality in Iloilo.

Sicogon used to be popular to tourists for its long stretch of white sand beach, said to be longer than Boracay’s 7-kilometer stretch.

may signal ang smart kag globe somewhere in the beach. wala resort. pro ok lang. mabuot ang mga tawo to. sa balay kami sang isa ka kagawad nag tulog FOR FREE!
nami ang beach. long stretch gid man a. but the sand is not as fine as boracay’s.

Yap, I Totally agree, a very rich province, yet it fails to promote its potential world class tourist destination, specifically Carles and its Islands. By the way, has Carles and Sicogon island is covered by either Smart or Globe cellsites?

Guyz, did you know that carles have lots of beaches to offer? The beauty of sicogon and gigante islands are only few of those pristine beaches of carles. However, the government of carles does not know how to protect the resources and the beauty of nature they have. They are busy destroying these resources instead. Now, to the government of Carles, do you want to protect the treasure that you have? Start locating for the treasures you ought to protect and don’t let it perish for future’s sake.
