MAYOR Jerry Treñas said he supports the city split proposal citing double pork barrel allocations Iloilo City could get once it is divided into two congressional districts. “It will provide more CDF (Countryside Development Fund) which will help the city implements projects. Even before, I had supported the proposal,” Treñas told reporters.
I DON’T buy that, I mean the City Hall will be divided into two. It’s crazy! Bacolod Government Center is costing 300 million, while Iloilo loan the 350 million for New City Hall, what the heck is that???? Daw sa pinalagpat ina ya haw! Kon matabu, ILOILO city will be the laughing stock. Ay ah!! Sa subong daw sa INDI ako kumbinsido sang mga plano ni Mayor nga pinalagpat! Don’t tell the people of ILOILO City, that we naive or “buki”.
