A wondrous sight to behold is the Lizares Mansion, now the Angelicum School, known as one of Iloilo’s most iconic heritage houses. The Lizares Mansion stands in testimony of Iloilo’s booming sugar industry during its heydey. Every year, the main building of Angelicum becomes the subject of amusement as thousands of Christmas lights adorn every inch of its facade further enhancing the charm of this magnificent edifice.

The Lizares Mansion in Jaro was the residence of Emiliano Alunan Lizares, one of the sons of Enrica Alunan and Efigenio Lizares. The pictures are very beautiful.
