The project seeks to enhance international and domestic investment by providing easy access to the Pavia Industrial Area, Iloilo International Port and the New Iloilo Airport in Santa Barbara.
It involves the construction of six circumferential roads within the Metro Iloilo region, consisting a total of PhP 6 Billion. These roads will reduce travel time within the region, as they will connect major highways to the northern, western, and southern parts of Iloilo province, paving the way for increased economic and tourism opportunities in Panay Island.

As what I said, nga-a kon may budget approval nga-a indi pagsuguran? Like Iloilo-Guimaras Bridge, madugay na ini nga plano asta subong nagalutaw man guihapon. Now circumferential road from ILOILO City to NIA and vice-versa. My God, we need to pay attention in regard to these matters. NO WHITE ELEPHANT please. That’s all I can say for now. Hala bira nga ma-implementar ang mga plano para sa kauswagan kang economiya kang ciudad kag banwa kang ILOILO and the whole Panay area.
Basta my budget, bira dayon! Indi pag kumkumon ang kuarta sang tawo para sa mga proyektos. Zoning Ordinance please. Thank You!
We should look into who originally proposes this project and who give this proposed budget? Is our provincial goverment aware of this? Is the budget will come from our national government? In my knowledge our new airport was originally the concept of the majority of the Ilonggo and it was pursue by Senator Frank Drilon until it was implemented and the successful completion…so back to this “Metro Iloilo Road Network” as you can analyze you can’t see “proposed” on the posted article so means it is already approved and ready for implementation..if somebody has the detailed imformation can be posted it here so that we can keep track on this project..we must be vigilant!
The Metro Iloilo Road Network is listed as one of the projects in MIGEDC (Metro Iloilo-Guimaras). With regards to the circumferential roads, as of this time, I am not sure if the budget has already been approved or where the budget will be sourced but I’m quite sure that the project has not started yet.
I only posted the project description here.
thanks…more power!
hala bira iloilo!
I wish, I wish nga masugudan dayon ining “Metro Iloilo Road Network”, bag-o ma-expire ang term ni GMA. Kag kon puede man ila pagatumanon and ILOILO-Guimaras Bridge Plan. Ang ILOILO NAGADAKU NA, okie so anano pa ang ila nga guinahulat??
Metro ILOILO Circumferrential Road and Metro ILOILO Road Network. WOW ILOILO! INI ang kinahanglan sang ciudad kag provencia sang ILOILO, kag bilog nga Isla Panay. Cheers! : )
infrastructure development is a barometer of progress. any developing province or city need good zoning and planning. it create a good business atmosphere and convenience.
Metro ILOILO Road Network…this is what I am talking about. ILOILO deserves to have this one. We call this type of access road here in the USA an “INTERSTATE” highway, no traffic light, but the speed limit up to 70mph. Iloilo needs to pass the new Traffic Rules and Regulations once these roads are built. It would be nice if the Metro Road is all over Panay Island, or in the whole Philippines. Let’s make the proposal a reality. NO Dreaming!
About the offer of PhilBio Sciences to convert a section of the dumpsite into a park in the 23 hectare Calajunan dumpsite for a plant that would use garbage to produce biogas or methane gas, upgrade its waste disposal system with the installation of cell type modular residual landfills to extend its economic life, improve the Leachate Collection System for re-circulation and increase recovery of biopass for energy application…is ALL GOOD! Mayor Jerry….PLEASE GRAB THIS OFFER! Cheers!
korek gid. especially bridge from iloilo to guimaras. I remember last week there was a typhoon and we were under signal no. 1. So wala byahe pumpboat to guimaras. so 1,500 plus passengers going to guimaras were stranded here for 2 days. If there’s a bridge, anytime maka tabok pa guimaras bisan may bagyo pa. Then also if the megaworld would start operating in a few years, I’m sure many of the workforce would be coming from Guimaras. Ti kun may signal no 1, pirmi lang hu-ol sa taga guimaras. Just another comment sa coast guard – during the typhoon nga signal no. 1, waay gin pa byahe mga pumpboat pa guimaras bisan ka linong sang dagat. Subong nga waay typhoon signal, pero ka dalagko sang balod, pwede ka byahe….. daw indi ko ka intyende
