Moroboro Irrigation Dam
The Moroboro irrigation dam was constructed in 1955. It serves two main channels in which diversion of water from the Jala-ur River is controlled in the central part by thirteen gates.

The Moroboro Dam provides irrigation to 11,000 farmers, 14,000 hectares of lands in the municipalities of the Province namely Dingle, Zarraga, Pototan, Barotac Nuevo, Dumangas, Anilao, and Banate. The dam is also used to traverse the Jala-ur River, acting as a foot bridge.

The Dam’s name is most often associated with its location in Brgy. Moroboro Dinge. Its actual name is the Jala-ur Diversion Irrigation Dam.

Just walking distance from the dam is the Moroboro Spring Resort and the Moroboro Suspension Bridge.

How to get there: Ride a tricycle in Dingle Town Proper and tell the driver to drop you off at the “irrigation dam” in Moroboro.
