Moroboro Suspension Bridge
The Moroboro Suspension Bridge traverses the Jalaur River in Brgy Moroboro, Dingle, Iloilo. Although already inaccessible to vehicles, it provides tourists an interesting sight to visit and allows them a great vantage point of the Jala-ur River and the Moroboro (Jala-ur) Irrigation Dam, which is just walking distance from the bridge.

The Moroboro Spring Resort is also just nearby and worth a peak if you’re already visiting the Moroboro Suspension Bridge.

How to get there: Look for a tricycle in Dingle Town Proper and tell the driver to drop you off at the “irrigation dam” in Moroboro, then ask him to point you to the direction of the “tulay” or bridge.

NO funding? NOT enough funding? ’til when to “WAIT”. Oh Mama mia! Again, I have to say this over and over again, OK. Needs the attention of Madamme President to please take a look @ the province of ILOILO, and also the city. North of the Philippines HAS the biggest budget of all, and most projects there are done. And how about Western Visayas espcially Panay Island?!! “gone with the wind” kita iya?!! Oh come on now. Madamme President let’s be fair! OK!!
replyThanks :) Yep there are quite a number of big houses in Dingle already - along the highway and in the poblacion area
replyI commend the person who took those beautiful pictures. They took me on a sentimental journey. During my childhood days we walked from the poblacion to go Moroboro sans the dam. There was a spring with a tiny pool to take a dip. To us young urchins it was lots of fun. It’s hard to believe that Dingle has made lots of improvement.
replyI hear that there many balikbayans who have set up vacation homes. I’m thinking of attending the town fiesta in June. I’m sure I am going to meet some balikbayans. I heard that recent town fiesta queens are from abroad.
Thanks for those nice pictures.
