Opening of Iloilo airport to boost tourism, economy of WV : Drilon

ILOILO CITY - Western Visayas’ tourism and economy will get a big boost with the opening of the international airport in Iloilo next year.

The P8.759 billion-airport straddling the towns of Sta. Barbara and Cabatuan, around 24 kms west of Iloilo City, will be open to commercial flights on April 15, Sen. Franklin Drilon said.

    cgeha senator nga pasulod sng mapuslanon nga proyekto, gapakita lng na sang matuodtuod ta nga handum para sa aton nga banwa kag indi pamolitika parehos sng iban nga obra pamentaha sa gobyerno. hi way nga ala interstate ( aton ya interprovince), beltway, overpass kg underpass, parehos sa iban nga industrialize country,lantawon ta kon dn pa makalusot ang trafik.

    Definitely the best thing to happen in Iloilo. Soon, we will have a full access to the world once the new airport goes international. I hope foreign embassies will be available on our doorsteps to facilitate good movement of Ilonggos to other countries and vice versa wihtout much delay.
