Jaro Belfry

The Jaro belfry is one of the most overrated landmarks of the city, IMO. I see it most of the time when someone makes a feature about Iloilo or when tourists come to Iloilo and upload their pictures onilne. I just think that there are more sights in Iloilo that are more beautiful that should be the one’s to be promoted that’s all … I have nothing against the Jaro Belfry though, its a nice looking structure.

I have seen a picture of the Jaro Belfry before it was rennovated, it had 4 statues at the 4 corners of the second floor. It would’ve been nice if they had incorporated that when they undertook the rennovation of the Jaro Belfry.
