Provincial Capitol view from the top
The old provincial capitol of Iloilo is a heritage building and was built more than 50 years ago. In front of it is the Arroyo Fountain, which has become one of the more popular symbols of Iloilo because of its beauty. The tall building behind it is the new provincial capitol of Iloilo.

i hope they will restore properly (NOT RENOVATE) the old capitol building and apply the “adaptive reuse” approach. Iloilo still has so much of its built-heritage structures and this is what makes the city unique. The city officials should realize that this is what would draw the tourists to Iloilo, especially Calle Real aka JM Basa – fantastic!
