The tribe competition of the Pintados de Pasi Festival 2009 was held last April 22, 2009. The performances of the tribes were an interesting take on the history of Passi and folklore of Central Panayanons. All performers have intricate body paintings reminiscent of the early settlers of Panay, who adorned themselves with tatoos all over their bodies.
