Sandbar Island Beach Resort

Sandbar Island Beach Resort, located in Bulubadiangan Island, Concepcion, is a 20 to 30 minute boat ride from the mainland. It is ideal for swimming, snorkeling, fishing, and just about any water recreation activity. A unique feature of the island is the shifting white sandbar, which would shift from left to right depending on the direction of the wind.

Visitors can really commune with the beauty of nature in the resort since no obtrusive cement/steel structures stand on the island. Concepcion is BEAUTIFUL! All we need is a GOOD ROAD all over the place, especially a road along the beaches. Hala Bira! : )
replyI was there in Iloilo City last Christmas of ‘07 and went back home to the US last January of ‘08. I visited my family in Molo. We had family reunion in Alubihod, Guimaras island, and I am planning to go back probably next year. I loved Alubihod very much, and the whole family enjoyed the blasts. Yanno what, we have beautiful beaches all over Panay Island, I should say..we are gifted! Boracay Island is now all over the globe. Concepcion island has a lot to offer, Sicogon rocks, Gigantes island is awesome, Phaidon beach is gorgeous, and Guimaras Island is stunningly BEAUTIFUL! IF, I win the Lotto here, I would prefer to build a hotel in one of the hot spots of Guimaras. Cheers! ; )
