There is a small resort called ciello del norte just outside conception. It is well known. Just ask any local person for directions. You can see sandbar island from there. As well as a dozen other small islands.
Note!!! Conception has a major sanitation problem. If they could fix that, it would be better than boracay. The islands seem very clean.

Concepcion is BEAUTIFUL! All we need is a GOOD ROAD all over the place, especially a road along the beaches. Hala Bira! : )

I was there in Iloilo City last Christmas of ‘07 and went back home to the US last January of ‘08. I visited my family in Molo. We had family reunion in Alubihod, Guimaras island, and I am planning to go back probably next year. I loved Alubihod very much, and the whole family enjoyed the blasts. Yanno what, we have beautiful beaches all over Panay Island, I should say..we are gifted! Boracay Island is now all over the globe. Concepcion island has a lot to offer, Sicogon rocks, Gigantes island is awesome, Phaidon beach is gorgeous, and Guimaras Island is stunningly BEAUTIFUL! IF, I win the Lotto here, I would prefer to build a hotel in one of the hot spots of Guimaras. Cheers! ; )

i just got home from sand bar resort!
my friend had her pre nuptial pictorial there and i must say it’s heaven here on earth!
im so crazy about that place.

u should go there and see it for urself..

hi donna, i am soo interested in visiting the place. can u share ur friend’s resort name and contact number? i am from antique and had been travelling to see the great places nearby my province. i like the unspoilt beauty of it like some places in Antique. =)
