3 more sisterhood pacts await signing
City Tourism chief Ben Jimena said three more cities from abroad will become sister-cities of Iloilo City once their respective pacts are signed. Jimena identified the two states as Tallahassee in Florida, San Antonio, Texas and Hao Shiong in Taiwan. The Tallahassee is the center of education, Texas is considered as heritage city and Hao Shiong as Ocean City. Read more »

I think in order to improve in our tourism, we have to eradicate those eyesores, billboards, streamers, wall write-ups/slogans that’s blocking and smearing the magnificent view of our city.
Then we have to design our overpass in such a way that it blends to the back-draft it could be hispanic or colonial.
And one request, please demolish that ugly overpass in front of office of tourism, very ironical. Aside from being ugly it was very stinky apparently of of human excrement. Obviously people doesn’t use that too often. And it is right there smacked in the main entry to downtown. It’s a little bit embarrassing to our potential tourist, don’t you think?
