Smallville is a popular night spot in Iloilo. Within the compound is a hotel, the Iloilo Business Hotel, and within walking distance is a row of clubs, bars, restaurants, and coffee shops. There’s certainly something for everyone’s nocturnal preferences.

For those who want to dance the night away, you can go clubbing in Verse or MO2’s aquarium and sway to hip-hop and R&B music. If you want to take it a bit slow, there are live acoustic bands playing in Shipwreck and MO2.

Feel like taking center stage by singing to your favorite karaoke tracks? Then MO2’s Annex has KTV rooms in the upperdeck, this aside from the billiard tables on the first floor.

If you want a rest from a busy night or just want to spend a quiet night sipping Iloilo’s finest brew, then you must try “Blue Jay.” This cafe serves coffee, sandwiches, cakes at reasonable prices, they also serve specialty coffees.

Smallville is located along Benigno Aquino Ave. (more commonly known as Diversion Road), in Mandurriao District. It’s a great place to unwind from a week’s stress, and also a nice place for visitors to have a feel of hows Ilonggos party!

I am glad the night life in Iloilo has improved. I was born in Iloilo, educated in US and now retired in Marinduque. The last time I was in Iloilo was about 25 years ago and there was no night life. At that time there were a lot of good restaurants . I have still have closed relatives in Iloilo. Some of these days I plan on enjoying the night life there described in your blog. I hope to get a break from my small business in Marinduque soon. Have a Good Day and Maayong Gab-i sa inyo, my Ilonggo kababayans!

[re=64072]Justene[/re]: I agree with SSS, not everyone goes to Smallville to show off their clothes and “cultured spirit.” I mean they’re not harming you in anyway for just being there. They just want to have a good time.
