Latest updates about New Ateneo de Iloilo main campus
Project Details: The proposed main campus of Ateneo de Iloilo - Santa Maria Catholic School sits in a 7.5-hectare campus in Brgy. San Rafael, Mandurriao. The facility, valued at P200M, is currently under works and will be partly operational in 2009.

Two of the seven hectares was donated by Kauturan Pison Development Foundation (Kapideco) while the five will be purchased by Ateneo de Iloilo. The Pisons also donated a half-hectare lot for the construction of the Santa Maria Parish.

The completion of the Tabucan-Diversion Road Concreting and the rehabilitation of Carpenters Bridge will make travel from Molo to Diversion Road and vice-versia more convenient since vehicles will no longer have to pass by the busy M.H. del Pilar St. Continue Reading »

Santa Maria Catholic School now bears Ateneo de Iloilo as principal name of the educational institution founded by the early Jesuit companions in the Society of Jesus- Francis Xavier, Saint Ignatius of Loyola, and Blessed Peter Faber, whose Jubilee Year was celebrated last July 31, 2006 at the school’s auditorium and activity area. The event, as part of the commemoration of the 450th and 500th anniversary of the founding Fathers, was attended by Atenean alumni, donors and benefactors of the school, prominent guests and local political figures.
