Deco’s La Paz Batchoy and Mang Inasal, two of Iloilo’s well received home-grown restaurants are expanding in Amigo Mall along Delgado St. It is a surprising development since both shops already have existing branches in the near vicinity. Barely a few minute’s walk is another branch of Deco’s and two other Mang Inasal branches.

Ted’s cafe-type branch along Diversion St. now open – 04/10 update

Ted’s Old Timer La Paz Batchoy has just opened its first stand alone cafe-type store along Diversion Road, beside Uncle Tom’s / Piazza. It is so far the biggest and most stylish branch of Iloilo’s favorite home-grown food chain. Aside from the usual menu of Ted’s you can also order some delicious desserts by Dulgies.

Ted’s La Paz Batchoy is not only a popular restaurant in the Philippines but an icon for. Ted’s La Paz Batchoy started its humble beginnings in La Paz Market, the birthplace of the La Paz Batchoy. It now has more than 30 branches around the Philippines. Batchoy is a noodle soup, garnished with pork innards, crushed pork cracklings, vegetables, shrimp, chicken breast or beef loin, shrimp broth, chicken stock and round noodles or miki.
