Agho Island is a small parcel of paradise located 7 nautical miles northeast of Concepcion town proper or “Poblacion”. The privately owned eight-hectare island has an extensive white sand beach area and a sprawling coral garden. Sandbar Island Beach Resort, Concepcion

Bulubadiangan or “sandbar island” is a popular island attraction in Concepcion, Iloilo. Many local and foreign tourists visit Sandbar Island for its clear blue waters and long shifting white sandbar, which would shift from left to right depending on the direction of the wind. It is ideal for swimming, snorkeling, fishing, and just about any water recreation activity. The island also offers a great view of the outlying islands of Concepcion, including the majestic Mt. Manaphag in Pan de Azucar Island.

Labay Cave

Is just a stone’s throw away from Bato Tariwis and can be reached by an uphill trek. This cave is approximately 100 meters in length. One inside the cave, you can view the magnificent work of nature in crystal-like stalactites and stalagmites. The cave also houses bats and monkeys. It is really worth exploring this cave.

Visit three scenic islands of Ajuy in a day

Want to visit white sand beaches and a few islands of Northern Iloilo while in Iloilo for only a “day trip”? The town of Ajuy has organized a tourist package called “Three Islands Tour,” in which visitors can experience three different islands in convenience and be back in the city just after sundown. These three islands are Calabazas Island, where an 18th century Spanish Era lighthouse stands, Marbuena Island, an island-resort where visitors can take part in a nature walk, and Nasidman Island, a traditional fisherman’s village. All of these three scenic islands are blessed with white sand beaches, clear blue waters, and rich marine resources.
