As a citizen and born in Iloilo City i hope that Iloilo will like a devastating Premiere City in the Philippines. I think that the old airport will buy y one of the philipine richest company to bulid a condo heights and a amusement park that people can pleasure and enjoy, as a student of one of the Protestant or Christian school in Iloilo city the Central Philippine University, hope that Iloilo will give by God a strength and beauty to attract by tourist in few years and months to come, I thinkif the airport will have a big budget to be have a 3. something kilometer runway and have some terminals

Bukare, Leon or areas in that direction would be a better place to build a park. It will give people around the area job oppurtunities and improve lives, hence less susceptibilty to rebel recruitment. Besides we need to spread traffic out somewhere. Create job oppurtunities outside metro Iloilo to diffuse congestion.

you nailed it guys!!! theme parks should be anywhere but outside of the metro area. old mandu airport is best use as corporate centre which we need most to be at par with neighboring Cebu.

I agree as well, because theme parks are mostly located outside the city. not within the city. basi gwa ya later on peryahan bala. I think they should think of an Iloilo Business Center instead of Theme Parks they should generate more jobs and attract investor within and outside of Manila. most suitable is a business park. that will also help de-congest traffic if they put theme park outside iloilo city since Jackass said it will help people escape after a stressfull week. think think think

I totally agree with Jack. Theme park is best suited for bigger areas and wider spaces outside the bustling Iloilo City. Sta Barbara is the best site for a theme park. It will surely complement it’s heritage Golf Course and the new Iloilo International Airport abounding the town.

Let’s focus the old airport’s site development into CBD or Business Park. A 54-hectare piece of land is way too small to cater theme park, convention center, etc.

    Cheers.

    Nah!

I think Developing this as the New Business Hub/Center will favor iloilo’s economy. This will create more jobs and opportunities. Our old downtown area can no longer handle the demands of a modern city.

And Theme Park’s are supposed to be located outside the city. Where people escape after a stressfull week of work right? Example is the Enchanted Kindom or the Splash Island. They’re definitely outside metro manila.
