My paternal grandmother, the late Eutropia Tubongbanua de Villanueva, was a native of Tigbauan, Iloilo. I remember her when I was a little boy, hosting every Tigbauanon who comes to visit Bacolod City. She was so graceful and generous in welcoming her relatives and kasimanwa to our ancestral house in Bacolod City in the late 60s until her death in mid 70′s at the age of 93.
