A three-hectare lake, located at the plateau on top of the mountain of Cabatangan, about 80 meters deep is an aquatic haven for its freshwater Tinagong Dagateel, carp and tilapia. Nestled at the foot of Mount Apog-Apog from the Iloilo-Antique border, Tinagong Dagat is a freshwater lake that is a 10-hour walk from Barangay Bagongbong -the last barangay reachable by vehicle. Its adjacent forest is rich with dazzling flora and fauna with trees that reach dizzying heights, providing a refreshing breeze of air under its shades making the destination all the more inviting for campers.
