Top 10 Wealthiest Towns in 2007 – 7 towns in Iloilo now first class

2007 was a good year for Iloilo municipal government units with most having positive income growths. Here are the results of the Commission of Audit annual financial report for the fiscal year 2007. The towns all over the country had an income reclassification this year based on their Average Annual Income (AAI). Seven towns in Iloilo are now officially first class, these towns include: Oton, Calinog, Dumangas, Janiuay, Lambunao, Pototan, and Dumangas.

Here’s a list of the highest performing towns when ranked according to their total operating income, income growth, income per capita, and IRA-dependency (FY2007).
