Project Details: Formerly known as the Panay Railways, the Trans Panay Express will connect and bring closer two provinces, three cities and 11 municipalities in Panay Island. The 122 kilometer railway line is planned to have fully air-conditioned coaches with 450 passenger capacity and will cut travel time from Iloilo City-Roxas City to 70 minutes.
There will be 13 stations (stops) between the from Iloilo to Roxas City. The route of the 122-kilometer project for Iloilo province are: Iloilo City, Pavia, Sta. Barbara, New Lucena, Pototan, Dingle, and Passi City. For Capiz province: Dumarao, Dumalag, Cuartero, Dao, Panitan and Roxas City.
After the completion of the Iloilo-Roxas City line, the railway system is planned to be extended to Guimbal town in Southern Iloilo and to Caticlan in Aklan to service Boracay-bound passengers.

totoo vic,,, mas kelangan yata ng antique iloilo railway! alam nyo ang proyekto na ito ay gasto lamang para kumita ang mga “uknow” to conclude di kelangan ang railway d2 sa roxas city! at bakit sumisingil itong railway company na e2 sa lahat ng bahay na nadaanan ng railway na e2, bilang renta raw! naku po panay railways inc tigilan nyo na ang paniningil d2 sa mga taga roxas cty dahil wala kayo karapatan maningil! dahil hindi nyo lupa e2! naglagay lang kau ng railway pero di nyo lupa e2! wag kau mag alala pag aralan ko pa lahat kung panu kau tumigil sa paniningil nyo!

guys, do u have any idea of the exact location kung san sila ggawa ng main station sa Iloilo? ..i’ve read NEDA’s report that there will be no longer stations in La paz, and near the provincial capitol..sa Jaro nlng dw..not sure if its inv democracia…pls help me.badly needed for my research..email me: vicsajise@yahoo.com
