Some Seaport area must be converted into ILOILO Bay, like Manila Bay. We need tall buildings in that area. That will represents ILOILO Skylines in the near future. Tall buildings=less consuming of spaces. Cheers! :)

Skyscrapers indeed conserve space….. but which seaport area do you have in mind jolly? I know Manila is such a very congested place with all those tall edifice and houses mushrooming everywhere and converting manila bay into land is their only alternative. However, I personally dont find it logical for Iloilo City to spend such huge amount of money in a seaport conversion when we still have other options to consider – like for instance some vacant spaces in Manduriao which the megaworld had recently bought or the area along diversion road down to Pavia etc… Thus, progress is not just concentrated in the city proper alone where traffic is ridiculous but this idea allows these places to grow as well.

I agree. BTW, in regard to roads, and road widening is very important. See the four lanes road of Subic, Clark and Tarlac, awesome! This type of road we really need in the WHOLE Panay and Guimaras. You know what, nice road is the MAIN ASSET OF THE COUNTRY. Foreigners love to stay and look around the beautiful places in the Philippines as long as the road is OK. Especially in Panay and Guimaras. Natuman ang proyekto sang Clark, Subic kag Tarlac, ti nga-a abi ang aton indi iya haw??Ano may pinili-an? PANAY Island is one of the CASH COWS in the whole PHILIPPINES. Check the income of Iloilo and Kalibo. Ini nga mga lugares are the Cash Cows. What I mean here is the four lane road from ILOILO going to Kalibo to Boracay must be accomplished in the near future, ASAP! Thanks! : )

The four lane road from ILOILO going to Carles to Sicogon Island must be accomplished ASAP! PLEASE NO WHITE ELEPHANT,OK.. Gotta love ILOILO, and the WHOLE Panay Island, and Guimaras. I mean?!, the CASH COWS, I wish the message will reach the attention of all the Politicos there. Cheers! :)

Guimaras is also in need of four lane road. The place is kicking now. Friends in Guimaras told me that Guimaras is one of the Golden Pots load of treasures. IF the Politicos will ignore the place, then maybe they are one the dummiest personas in the whole darn world. Cheers! :)

Four lanes road from ILOILO City to Carles to SICOGON. Thanks : )

Likewise the road from ILOILO to Sicogon. DPWH guys, once the proposals are approved then start the construction. We need four lanes highway interconnecting province to province. Ang mga politicos keep on spending our tax money for NOTHING. Thank You!! :)

Ay a! Good to hear this. Marc, I wish you take the pics of the “Finished Products” as soon as any of the roads will be done. TO SEE IS TO BELIEVE! Basi bala billions of pesos tapos ang hitsura indi parehas sa Subic, Clark kag Tarlac. Thank You! :)

I’ll be there this coming summer, and I’ll look around the city of ILOILO, and some of the provinces there. To see is to believe, just curios. I missed ILOILO for a decade now. Time to go back for a visit. Cheers! :)

Manami pa gid siguro kung ang aton nga iloilo river ipadalumon kag pa gwapuhon….para pwede ma-agyan sang passenger ferry from the city down to molo – ina bala katulad sa Venice(?). Butang sila terminal station sa may mulle loney, sa may kilid gaisanao, sa may diversion bridge kag sa may carpenter’s bridge. This way, folks have better options either to take ferry or jeep to travel around. This would surely alleviate the worsening traffic around the city streets, shorten travel time while it brings excitement and comfort to the commuters.
