Valeria and Delgado Streets in Downtown Iloilo is a food and shopping haven in Downtown Iloilo City. A few mid-sized shopping centers are located in the area such as SM Delgado, Marymart Mall, Amigo Mall, and The Atrium. Aside from the restaurants inside the malls, there are also restaurant/coffee shop strips along Valeria St. called “La Sallette” and another in Delgado St. called “La Terraza,” where locals and visitors go to for delicious food or just to sip coffee and do people watching along the arcaded sidewalks.

This strip is the steep competitor of Smallville. The latter caters the upper middle class population, whereas the former is “pang masa”. I love both of them!
