Waterfront eyes high-end boutique hotel mart in Iloilo

G Hotel Manila by Waterfront will open on Nov. 16, and Waterfront may open five more G hotels in the cities of Cebu, Davao, Cagayan de Oro, Iloilo and Bacolod, Gatchalian said.

“This is an innovation we wanted to introduce to the market,” he said. “There is a market now for small premium hotels catering to high-end travelers who want privacy and personalized service.”

I’ve just recently heard about that from SSC man. I hope it’s true and they build a high-rises in Iloilo just like Club Ultima’s beautiful U/C in Cebu.

Another hotel group eyeing to build a new hotel in Iloilo City. Looks like Iloilo City is gearing towards the Pilippines’ next convention center.

There’s also hearsay that Club Ultima and Crown Regency Hotel will soon be in Iloilo.

Let’s just wait and see and welcome them all with open arms.
