If you’re visiting Boracay Island anytime soon or just planning for it, then you’re going to need to know the right hotels and resorts to stay in the island suited to you preference and budget. Here’s a helpful guide to help you pick the right choice.

Boracay Island, Philippines
With regards to accommodation options, the whole Boracay Island is divided into five smaller areas: Station 1, Station 2, Station 3, Bulabog Beach, Northern and Southern Boracay. Each area has its own qualities that cater to a particular type of traveler.
Stations 1, 2, and 3 are located in White Beach, the main attraction and tourism area of Boracay. This is where most of the hotels and resorts in the island are located. Most of the tourists stay here because it fronts White Beach and is most accessible to all the attractions in Boracay.
Station 1, White Beach

Station 1 is where most of the high-end hotels are located because it has the best sand in white beach. Although the whole of white beach is blessed with fine white sand, Station 1 has a noticeably finer and whiter sand than Stations 2 and 3. It also has a more spacious beachfront so it doesn’t get too crowded. If you’re looking to relax, get pampered, and still experience Boracay’s nightlife, best check out the hotels and resorts in Station 1.
Station 2, White Beach

If you are lured to Boracay because of it’s nightlife, shopping areas, restaurants, and influx of multinational visitors then Station 2 is the center of most of the action in the island. It has a mix of high-end, mid-range, and budget hotels and resorts.
Station 3, White Beach

Station 3 is known as the quiet side of White Beach. It is home to most of the budget resorts and tourist inns but also has a few high-end hotels and resorts. Backpackers love it here because it is cheaper and peaceful yet still a short walk from Station 2 or a short tricycle ride to Station 1.
Bulabog Beach

Bulabog Beach is found at the opposite of White Beach in the central part of Boracay. From White Beach, it is just a 5-10 minute walk to Bulabog Beach. It is popular among Windsurfers and Kitesurfers during during the early months of the year until June and July because of its strong winds. It caters to the adventure water sports enthusiast crowd and those seeking a more peaceful side of Boracay but still have easy access to White Beach. Like Station 3, there are a lot of budget hotels and resorts in Bulabog Beach with a few high-end options.
Southern and Northern Boracay

These two areas are the most exclusive parts of the island with private beaches and luxury hotels such as Shangri-la and Monaco Suites de Boracay. A lot of international and wealthy local tourists go here to experience world-class luxury resorts and private beaches.

17’000p for one night ;-)
It’s one of the hilltop lofts of Shangri-la Boracay in Northern Boracay.
I would like to “experience world-class luxury resorts and private beaches” on my next trip. Now, I would like to know the name of the resort (last photo). Exhilirating view as the resort must be on top of a hill! Tell me, tell me!!!!
