The Yamato International School is a private school located in the town of Lambunao. It is a 10-min ride from Lambunao’s town proper and could be reached by hiring a tricycle in the public market area, if one does not know the way.
The school sits regally atop a hill, where a great view of Lambunao’s highlands can be seen.
The school’s main building displays a striking resemblance to the National Diet Building in Tokyo, Japan. Thus, it is considered as its little or “mini” version.

i don’t understand why there’s a school owned by japanese n Lambunao..is it because of gold mines these people keep on digging on that said town??and who benefits from that school when there’s less enrollees??i just don’t understand….
well actually yes because im one of the pupil….and i love that school but they said that theres a gold mines before so thats why!!!
@ anna, it’s not anymore your headache if there is not much enrollees in this school. With positive outlook, i am quite certain that soon this school will rise along with other schools in the city. Either way, this contributes achievements to the town as well.

amazing.. there’s a school pla at lambunao na ganito.. the school building is nice, its just like school buildings at japan.. maybe the ambiance of the place is so nice, because it is at the top of the hill..
wow its a beatiful building design.i wasnt able to glance this when i was in my vacation.i dont really know the exact place,but i heard this school but anyway i want to take alook this when i have my vacation.its really a nice place.its alovely place.
i just want to comment regarding anna banana comments,i dont think so its a big problem if there a school like this,meaning our town is improving because its a additional income to our town.why your very worry about this!from now on just try to understand ok…goodluck darlin……

so what if we are local students? the fact is we are globally competitive.. i believe that this school produced good students. and i think im one of them. because of the quality education given by yamato international school i hade made it to the number one university in the country namely University of the Philippines …
I dont understand why paul seems to underestimate the local students in an international school here. This is a classical example of the so-called pinoy crab mentality….

Well, I am proud to be a Lambunaonon and Yamato contributes to our towns prestige and that we, are lovers or education. Are we not happy that our town will be the most loved and visited town in Iloilo? Yamato needs to campaign to Fil-Am students who are staying already in Iloilo to enroll and maybe if there’s a dorm or shuttle service? Hmmmm… nice nice. Local students? It’s okay for now. But if the vision-mission of the school is strong, well well well. Pwede!!! Saludo ako, kasimanwa ko! Muaah!!! We must be friendly people so that even if our fare going to the sky is only fifty cents, well, people will be enchanted by our place and will continue dreaming us and respect us. They could invite Korean Students for now. God Bless.
@paul … youre right…. international students…. they dont provide to scholarship to poor students in Lambunao… The Structure is huge and pretty beautiful, the tranquility is condusive to learning … good to unwind here and picnic you must know that :)
@billy… correct..its not her problem anymore… Japanese people should have anticipated in the past before they constructed that huge structure… the return of investment ( might be of thier least focus)after all.. japanese have good profits in technology and not on education or some sort. and how dare she suspect them to be “gold-hunters”…
