The Arevalo Plaza was literally set ablaze with multi-colored and sparkling lights last Sunday dazzling spectators during the fireworks display and contest, one of the highlights of the Arevalo District Plaza. Unlike conventional fireworks displays, the one in Arevalo is unique because of its colorful ground flares arranged in intricate patterns. The flares are suspended on tall bamboo stands and are set-off with synchronized choreography and matching aerial fireworks.
