The long wait is finally over. Millions of spectators in Iloilo and around the globe (thanks to ABS-CBN’s live coverage) got to see the world class performances of 16 participating tribes in the Dinagyang Ati Competition last Sunday. The Dinagyang Ati is the main highlight of the Dinagyang Festivals, wherein competing tribes composed of dark-brown colored warriors perform highly choreographed dances to the fast paced beat of drums and paying homage to the child Jesus by shouting “Viva, Viva! Senyor Santo Nino!.”
