The cross, built on top of a hill, is quite visible from the town proper or poblacion of San Joaquin. From afar, it looks like a tall stairway leading to the cross is also being developed. Its beautiful and very peaceful place to spend your time with if one wants to relax and at the same time vacationing in a resort.
