Saving to the city; 2. Decongest the City; and 3. Create a vehicle to multiply the commerce to other parts of Metro Iloilo instead of lumping everything to the old portion of the City. What ever is the reason of the City Government : it is hoped that it is beyond political surival since it is already near election time.Reply Mary Ann saysJune 15, 2007 at 11:07 amI enjoy reading the beauty of iloilo…but i was hoping to know more…especially on the history’s of how zamora and other barangays on that area started to live there life. It maybe the negative site of iloilo but history searches its memory from the very bigining as a part of its out standing development trough time..without it, apreciation of how much it has survive all sorts of test to prove how great is iloilo is actually meaningless or unsatisfying. thank you so much for puttimg up this website.Reply Joy saysDecember 11, 2006 at 9:13 amHi,I liked the nine storey design of Iloilo City Hall. We need extra space for this outlet. Compared to Iloilo Provincial Capitol Building has so much office spaces. As I figured out when I was working with late Kagawad Mel Nava, matama ka gutok sadto. If you ask me, I preferred the first design which was a nine storey building. Thanks. At last they finally decided to build a new City Hall at this time. It’s time nga bag-uhon ang City Hall kayman dilicado inang Campus building. Da-an na inang building katama. Campus building is antique, and there’s no way nga padugayon pa. Thanks to Mayor Jerry Trenas and his staffs. Goodluck to all of you,and God bless! See yah y’all next year. Cheers to all!USAReply
