I definitely agree with your statement. We have an armchair expert in that person of Vic.@billy Yes, people here tend to go way off topic and rant on unrelated thingsI hope this complex does attract and keep business establishments (tech related or otherwise). This will be good for the people nearby with the jobs that will be generated. Could also be beneficial for the locals nearby if they start stores catered to the workers in the complex like carinderia, coffee/meriendahan, barbershops etc.Reply Helen Of Troy saysApril 10, 2012 at 11:58 am@Vic , well saidReply Hellen_keller_rising saysApril 10, 2012 at 9:00 amI love how Iloilo is becoming more ambitious! That hotel idea certainly is. I can imagine that the community near the megaworld complex would benefit from it even by placing simple shops like carinderia or kapehan.@chingsen I mostly agree with what you say@vic Crab mentality. Overly critical without any real suggestion. Real as in possible instead of flights of fancy and dreams of eutopia.@violin wait, what?Reply chingsen saysApril 6, 2012 at 3:31 amHey guys, I was reading around the blog and then the comments section. I’m really happy to see Iloilo booming again and seeing so much progress in the city. One thing though, a certain poster here keeps complaining about developments in the city. Vic I believe you to be too much of an idealist and not a realist. I’m all for an egalitarian society but the fact remains that there will always be a class divide among peoples because some people will always do better than others. It’s always a positive sign when businesses are sprouting and flourishing in the city. We live in a capitalist society and when people are spending on luxury goods, it almost always indicates a booming economy. No one would buy Ipods or a P150 cup of coffee if times were that bad. Vic maybe you should realize that as far as salary and wages goes that is up to the individual’s education and merit.>>>Government should assure homes have TV, Internet , assistance to houses cant afford to pay their electricity and water bills , free health-care and a prison<<<The Government is responsible for making sure those services are available and keeping the prices down or encourage competition between rival providers. It also has to make sure jobs are provided and to protect worker's rights. You are basically asking for a handout. This system does not work. The hardworking people will be the ones to pick up the slack while the lazy ones will mooch off them. This is very prevalent in the USA and other countries where the Welfare system is practiced. Most people in the projects are content to live int their squalor and receive checks from the government. This is a system that has always been abused. Give opportunities to people who are willing and eager to work but giving hand outs won't solve the problems.Reply Vic saysApril 5, 2012 at 12:14 pmDear Operator Marcos ,I have written {“Social Security Benefits }. I am not expectant you will respond on this as apparently youre not ready on these intricate things and youll have to consider dropping the discussion , and I will have to understand Violin, hi BTWReply violin saysFebruary 7, 2012 at 5:58 amThere are certainly quite a lot of particulars like that to take into consideration. That is a great point to bring up. I supply the ideas above as basic inspiration but clearly there are questions like the one you convey up the place an important factor will likely be working in honest good faith. I don?t know if best practices have emerged around issues like that, however I am sure that your job is clearly recognized as a good game. Both girls and boys feel the influence of only a moment?s pleasure, for the rest of their lives.Reply Vic saysDecember 14, 2011 at 7:24 amCreola Collister thank you . Thats the way it should be . French Revolution would have not been happened if the Queen have not squandered money in grandiosity while French people fought for a single bread. National Wealth ( of a country should be rationed . A rich could have 10 dish in a meal. He cannot eat it all up , his stomach is built not to accomodate a ton of food. he should have give the 9 to other tables. and if he is honest that 10 dish wont get into his table without hundreds people who have worked together. Fish, Chicken, beef did not walk his way into him someone spent some time to have them there , vegetables was carefully wacthed by another group , they were transported by various people into the Market. Various people sold it, and stuff like that. Fair share , greed is the thing which distances people from God and generosity makes people pleasing to Him . it’s a surest measure we are all to be judged ( in christian point of view)Reply Creola Collister saysDecember 14, 2011 at 6:41 amI really liked your post. I will come back to learn more.Reply bode saysDecember 12, 2011 at 11:12 pmWhat’s with vic?He wants the government to hand out houses over creating jobs. One would assume that more jobs means more income for the city overall. How do you think establishments in Smallville or Plazuela survive if they ran out of patrons? The fact that some of these stores/shops are a bit pricey but still thrive means that there is a growing middle to upper class in the city.I’m just happy to see that small businesses are doing great in the city. Usually it’s just the franchises (jollibee, KFC, Dunkins, etc.) that endure. It just means that more people with jobs means more customers means you have more people setting up small businesses and people patronizing them.Vic, these infrastructures would not be built if there were no business/es to support it. How do you really expect the economy to move if there are no businesses and no jobs available?Reply Vic saysDecember 12, 2011 at 5:17 pm@anfoldlee_03, a place to be measure is developed when less people are hungry and are living decently. many people think that development when a lot of infrastructure are coming in. This is just a signal….a true development is this…when are less disparity on distribution of national wealth . its bad when others have 100 Million on hand while others cannot make it to 100 in a day … rich are those who owned a business should be taxed highly and it should be used to contruct houses , food security for all people , affordable leisure activites , allowances for Seniors and Young People, Government should assure homes have TV, Internet , assistance to houses cant afford to pay their electricity and water bills , free health-care and a prison.Reply anfoldlee_03 saysDecember 12, 2011 at 3:49 pmguys stop arguing please,y not help each other promote what is /are the development that’s happening in our cities.Remember we are considered twin cities of the Philippines no need to argue. If Iloilo city’s development is in past pace, then that’s great 2 know.it only shows that we are already prepared for more investments and our economy is in great change..what we need is to promote and held hands w/each other to make a greater change…Think big..Think Iloilo…ilonggo on da go^_^Reply Vic saysAugust 12, 2011 at 8:59 am@Darlene Holzhausen and Mari … you are free to inject your opinions/rebuttals/corrections too … thanks for enjoying our dialogueReply Vic saysJuly 12, 2011 at 9:16 am@mur2s,,, its just the thing people fancy here about me and billy…. anyway… about same-sex marriage.. did you know that Marriage is very recent Human sociological set up? in ancient times people are not married but continue to be mating out of conceivable reasons…. and the principal reason why two-people are bond under the established law of any rudimentary society is economic reason , and as its applicable too right now, man and woman continue to live together since they are forced to provide for the whole family expenses, and right now there’s demographic ships about issue such as marriage since, it seems that less and less people choose to be legally married according to recent study, single parent is spreading across USA, as though they don’t need men in our lives that much, as head of families, that anybody can be the patriarch of the family — a woman, two men, two women, the government,as this dynamism continue to grow. As of today, we have CASA (Central Azucarera de San Antonio) in Passi City, owned by the well-known Ilonggo Jose Mari Chan, supplying the power for MEPZA (Mactan Economic and Processing Zone) in Mactan Cebu, and GBPC (Global Business and Power Corporation or Coal Fired) supplying power for Negros (CENECO) and Panay (PECO, ILECO, etc.). Then onwards, we have the additonal unit of Coal Fired in Ingore, hydro power plant in Antique (2012), the wind turbine in Guimaras (2015), the ongoing expansion of substations in Aklan, Barotac Viejo, Sta. Barbara, San Jose, Antique and many others. No stopping NOW!Reply Vic saysMay 8, 2011 at 11:35 amWhile these development is good…. it’s not quite a good indicator or progress or prosperity of a City…..I believe the government has to focus on Housing Program, to build houses for People in the City like that in San Isidro Jaro where brick houses are being constructed and they will be funded by government, subsidized by philanthropical companies , aided by Congressman CDF , and many endeavors, and to make very affordable mortgage system.. with that we will be assured that Most inhabitants of iloilo are living in decent homes and we can truly be proud of Iloilo…In Foreign National Discriminatory Perspective….we are living in slums …Reply Rey saysMay 8, 2011 at 1:53 pmSus… That’s why we are creating jobs first for the Ilonggos para madula na ina…. Create a ‘kabuhayan’ first and those will come.Tani di man pagpabay-an sing government ang major resources sing Iloilo like agriculture, aquaculture and the likes and other tourist destinations… I’m more ecstatic aboout sa revival sang Panay railways kay amu gid ini ang catalyst natun para mag-unlad.

chingsen saysApril 6, 2012 at 3:31 amHey guys, I was reading around the blog and then the comments section. Give opportunities to people who are willing and eager to work but giving hand outs won't solve the problems.Reply

Vic saysFebruary 7, 2012 at 9:21 am@Violin, It is imperative to get things straigt. what you mean by particulars?…. what you mean by “ideas as basic inspiration” ?how you come up to an idea to fActor the place that people will most likely to work in good faith? and whats the connection and relevance of best practices to your previous position, who recognized ” a job” as a “good game” what are the moments’s pleasure that is highly influencial to both boys and girls in particular?, I doubt whether youll agree with me had you not made yourself a little bit more clear , you would have drill further on creating your ideas and syntesizing them and to make it coherent so we could a smooth sailing flow of discussion. I am not expectant you will respond on this as apparently youre not ready on these intricate things and youll have to consider dropping the discussion , and I will have to understand Violin, hi BTWReply
violin saysFebruary 7, 2012 at 5:58 amThere are certainly quite a lot of particulars like that to take into consideration. That is a great point to bring up. I supply the ideas above as basic inspiration but clearly there are questions like the one you convey up the place an important factor will likely be working in honest good faith. I don?t know if best practices have emerged around issues like that, however I am sure that your job is clearly recognized as a good game. Both girls and boys feel the influence of only a moment?s pleasure, for the rest of their lives.Reply
Vic saysDecember 14, 2011 at 7:24 amCreola Collister thank you . Fair share , greed is the thing which distances people from God and generosity makes people pleasing to Him . it’s a surest measure we are all to be judged ( in christian point of view)Reply

bode saysDecember 12, 2011 at 11:12 pmWhat’s with vic?He wants the government to hand out houses over creating jobs. How do you really expect the economy to move if there are no businesses and no jobs available?Reply
Vic saysDecember 12, 2011 at 5:17 pm@anfoldlee_03, a place to be measure is developed when less people are hungry and are living decently. many people think that development when a lot of infrastructure are coming in. This is just a signal….a true development is this…when are less disparity on distribution of national wealth . its bad when others have 100 Million on hand while others cannot make it to 100 in a day … rich are those who owned a business should be taxed highly and it should be used to contruct houses , food security for all people , affordable leisure activites , allowances for Seniors and Young People, Government should assure homes have TV, Internet , assistance to houses cant afford to pay their electricity and water bills , free health-care and a prison.Reply

Vic saysJune 24, 2011 at 2:55 pm@billy if you see any swearing words i posted pls qoute it…. they are no swearing words … they are kinda rhetorics and cracking-jokes, sarcastic-fun and inflamatory comments, its of no sort to character assasinate or terrorize you if there were rough words i made explicitly or indirectly implied or you been offended inadvertently ,its conversation-triggering style i could think to keep the forum activity goes on and on.and of course, specifically for you, That was kinda technique I employed to gauge your state of temper and coping with these stuffs … on the other hands you had been plenty of ” vulgar” words … i cant help it… maybe you need to drink cool-aid , suiting massage or Zen Garden bath…. i offer those services .. i offer discount too…and if youre chasing every boy in town…. hahahaha i got no red-house…..Reply
billy saysJune 24, 2011 at 1:33 pmOk…let’s stop this once and for all. This will lead us nowhere but to our downfall…let’s move on…Reply

billy saysJune 23, 2011 at 10:51 pmThat’s a shallow reply like fooling no one but yourself. please, dont make fun of yourself…if you had configured your computer to filter vulgar/swearing words as you were saying, then how had you been able to read those comments(swearing) i made? You even retorted…”with your SWAERING WORDS”…in your reply….that means, your computer failed to filter it after all…that means…you’re such a fcking liar….hey, the public is watching you! By, the way, normal person gets swayed by his temper once provoked.Reply
Vic saysJune 23, 2011 at 2:47 pm@billy..ok ill settle the issue…. these past few days i just cant get into this forum so i just cant answer you right up i cant read it but in Home i can, it looks like you been bombarding me so i just said something over the “Smallvile Area”not here on ” Megaword”,,, heres the reason why….. the computer rejects swearing words that was written upon here… by you…. and if youre keen enough… you would know that i had configured my computer to filter vulgar/swearing words to be banned site….and you might have gain insight that I am not the person you accused me of….(bastos)… grow up your temper much, more your attitude …Reply
billy saysJune 23, 2011 at 12:31 am@ vic…i didn’t know you stabbed me in the other issue. Why replied there when you could have done it here instead? Were you fatally hit? Friendly advice, if you want to be respected, try to be tactful in everything you say before you utter a word….it can be a tool against you like boomerang.Reply
billy saysJune 21, 2011 at 1:24 pmAnyone who is in my position would react the same way as i did. You both started the provocation and just made a shame out of yourselves. Such nasty and imprudent comments only show the kind of persons you are – bastos! It would have been better for you both to keep your mouth shut. By the way, Vic im surprised that you do engage yourself in rumors…tsk, tsk tsk…that’s exactly what real gays are!Reply

Vic saysJune 20, 2011 at 11:59 am@billy and mur2s… what about Spratly?–…its just a distant part of huge “south china sea” , way closer to Palawan that Philippines had historically claim as our own own geographical territory that the poor Chinese fisherman fond of getting into the area and then claim it as their own and tolerated by their tyrannical/greedy politics… claimed by Vietnam, claimed by Taiwan and Indonesia … This is huge International Problem to deal with…. those FALSE-Claimants would not be silenced unless an Authoritative Body like United Nation and ASEAN will interfere on it whatever International Statuary Laws applicable to underscore officially that it is legally owned by Philippines…. and silently, I am not into favoring the construction of ” Chinese Arch” over Iloilo City…. what do we owe to Chinese???— we have feed them through centuries and they are summarily getting all wealth in here….. Airlines/Major Malls/Banks/Hotels/Most Business/Media are run and owned by CHINESE…. if China able to suck the TRILLIONS OF FEDERAL DOLLAR( imagine its trillion dollar) of AMERICANS… Philippines is a speck of a dust than AMERICA… @billy and mur2s are you two guys Chinese ???Reply
billy saysJune 20, 2011 at 10:13 amvic was right. In my own opinion, each country, claiming part of it should sit down among themselves and divide the portion that rightfully belongs to each based on geographic jurisdiction.Reply
mur2s saysJune 20, 2011 at 10:45 amwell if you based it on geographic location it only belongs to us. if we will let those countries take part of it the next time we will only have a part of the palawan. china is such a bully. they say whatever lies in china sea are theres. also they may claim that wherever ders a chinatown or a chinese frndship arch is a part of china. also vic try 2 trust billy bcoz he blives n u.Reply

I am pretty sure people from Negros will settle and flock to contest the job slots here…. so Our City officials were right about hiring..to prioritize Ilongos , its very similar to USA, they have this labor Attestation Code,,, no matter an expatriate is highly qualified for the job…. americans are the first priority . . . I am expecting anyone to comment whether you agree or disagree with me… i love anyone who contradicts me anyway…. if not I encourage anyone to contradict me….Reply

Now….you said ” pwo kung tutuusin indi kah man loyal sa iloilo kay man english gamit moh”<— ooh pls…. speaking English is not great indicator of disloyalty to Iloilo ..again… the principles of lengua franca applies here….. then—you said" bsan indi cla kabalo mag-english uswag man sila aw??” kag para may makabasa nga taga-iba nga lugar para maganyat magkad2 xa iloilo??””” No no no its very illogical and accusatory… i never suggest anything at all about speaking in English Language so foreigners will read this and they are attracted to live in iloilo….i am the big mouth here instead that Iloilo have less Housing, etc,,, how come i would suggest they will be ” ganyat”…. you said ” indi moh gani maganyat ang taga piyak isla kag ang iban pah nga isla xa pilipnas maganyat ka pah sa iba nga lugar… unahun moh anay ang tagapilipinas kay man para malapta kung gaano kanami ang iloilo”…….. its full of untruth,,,, its your putting-words-on-my-mouth… i never think of what your thinking about me… never i did persuade anyone to live in iloilo…. and never i will….they have their choice… you said—-> “kag mga migo ko dri nga mga puti gnahagad ko nah sila makd2 cla pilipinas lalo na sa banwa ko nga iloilo” “realistic kah guid man pwo pessemist ka imo yah” again in dealing with things we anticipate… we meta-analyze what recommendations that’s been given in the past and proven ineffective, are not reintroduce if not were making the same mistake……. and i tell you seriously and frankly… i am not pessimist person in dealing with things and of life…. its never my character, valuem, credentials, i always think of the possible solution… you call it self-efficacy, or not giving up and always a dynamic changing things in matter of innovations….i am not bragging but i have to correct you about your erroneous opinion about my persona…. i am not that what youre thinking of…. never i will…….. you said– “kag iexample moh pah ang LA” when i give example LA is about the crime rate in there…. not in a context of language… pls be corrected…. lastly—- “ano abi nabulig moh???”… I am very sorry if you want me to tell things i am doing to Iloilo City…i don’t say it here…. it would always be better not to say that pertains to finances as much as i would….But I am doing something/many things… They are better left undisclosed….I believe in Matthew 25….as mark of the saved and i have to materialize it to me …and i have all the things in life to go out and accumulate wealth in me… as of now, i choose to be here, not that i do not want growth or anything…. because i choose to be here. some people want wealth and work in foreign lands only the found out big chunk of their money are deposited back to the treasuries of the host country and they have rendered services in 20-30 years of tedious work, and go back here in the sunset of their lief. all day of routine commuting , a long and hard hours of work, averaging to 72 hours in a week, that long work day after another has very little else between them, they went home exhausted. Vic saysMay 16, 2011 at 10:41 am@ ricks…i do not let myself subject to the manipulation of UP people especially from manila who who device tagalog to be the dominant language in the Philippines, Look at us Ilongos,,, do you hear every single person here who speak tagalog in school in office in streets? they are being ridiculed or made fun of….Iloilo is unique… its a crime here to speak tagalog unlike in Cebu, In Mindanao, In Aklan, In Romblon , In Palawan etc… they comfortably speak tagalog without someone will take a fuzz into it..unlike in Iloilo….. its big NO-NO…you see the trend here?—because Iloilo People are intelligent being…were not always victim of ploy of people in Manila…. and there’s no truth in this—– “”” one thing i noticed sa aton nga mga taga-probinxa is dat we don’t let ourselves grow”””.. its a very narrow perspective of belief…..that’s why do not make the same mistake next time in public especially when people in Manila are listening….you said youre take prie to be Ilongo but as i review your comments its only in words , yet how you conduct your self i find its not… i need proof… one of the best way is to exalt Iloilo in whatever means, manners you could possibly know how… with that..you’re helping to pain our Place to have good name…. the information is power…….Look at Los Angeles… by word of mouth it gained fame… and tourism help their place to have big income… people there do not say about ugly crimes of the city… as you see, every decade, dozen of prisons are being built and some are released because they are formidable murder, gang wars, drug cartels robbery, burglarly etc are very common everyday…yet we have nothing to hide about crimes…. We never build another prison for this century… lets call it a dayReply

Vic saysMay 15, 2011 at 6:25 pm@ ricks one major reason i speak English here because its— Lengua Franca of the world— so when chinese spanish german would read this…they will grasp what we mean—-i don’t classify myself as second-rate probensiano– its very unwise…when we see alot of people in cosmopolitan area are in authority and expertise.. Senator Meriam Santiago, Justice Secretary Raul Gonzales , and many many more… so probensiano doesn’t let themselves grow??????— very obviously… youre being let yourself influenced by Manila-Mentality, people who belittles probensianos….this time is great time for you to wake up the diamonds which is specifillay the Ilongo Ethnic-Group. I have told all you these to protect the sovereignty of Ilongo Custum and Custure in no way as underdog to that of tagalog……. The educated people knew very well… Iloilo has never been a part of Manila even before Spanish times… and was not part of Philippines the moment Iloilo signify thier loyalty to Spain…and then , we are part of Spain when the Treat of Paris was signed.Reply

If you try to read again my previous comments, it is stated there how proud I am to be an ilonggo and for the record kuya vic, I’m not belittling the iloilo/probinxano because I’m proud to become one… I’m proud of our government in iloilo… from mayor…to governor to congressman… not perfect yet operational… hehehe proud of our iloilo football team and proud of our fellow ilonggos who made their way to the top like jed madela and others… @ LEE.. thanx for pointing dat out.. hehheReply
Vic saysMay 15, 2011 at 2:46 pm@ ricks.. pls refrain me of calling kuya… first its very non-ilongo custum… We people of Iloilo has a unique history, government apart from Luzon/Manila… before Spanish time we never identify ourselves as people from Manila … we must protect our identity as Ilongo uncorrupted by Tagalog dominant power to influence us in custum, culture and language… truly wherever we go … we are bringing our Ilongo tradition … if not…. we will be dissolved or melt with other cultures …. @ ricks have a nice trip here :) …you said you eat a lot—- good thing….we have very nice restaurant all over iloilo… very exotic hang outs…. affordable and delicious too…. speaking about being naughty… yeah you could check in anytime to many hostels :) i wish you good things of lifeReply

Vic saysMay 15, 2011 at 2:38 pm@ JC I appalud sincerely about your inputs…. so my case would rest as raised by kirbs who apparently clueless about the interconnectedness of power sharing in Negross Occidental and Panay Island…. @ JC…. again…. you confirmed that our title as ” Queen City of the South is irrevocable”… in no way would Cebu will assumed such title under the same context… whenever Cebu will claim itself as such which they are doing …it pertains to their economic dominance… not the historical and political history of the term …. and to recommend to put an end to confusion.. Iloilo City Government should put a Granite Tablet–with caption about our Title as– Queen City of the South” so the newer generation will be educated accordingly… Good day everyone… your comments is much appreciatedReply

JC saysMay 15, 2011 at 10:18 amWell, for info. Visayas is now on a wholesale electricity spot market (WESM), which means every distribution utilities (PECO, CENECO, VECO, ILECO, CAPELCO, AKELCO, etc.) has the freedom to choose kun sa diin nila kuhaun ila source sng power. If we’ll look on the brighter side, these would mean jobs for every Ilonggos and the whole inhabitants of Panay.Reply

Vic saysMay 13, 2011 at 11:39 pm@ yeah truly… you know it bleeds my hear to see the poverty in Eastern Visayas and ARMM or other places in philippines as our fellow Filipino.. i have watched videos of many extreme hunger and child labor… we should not look down on them…it violates the moral law. Vic saysMay 11, 2011 at 2:30 pm@ Ming ,,, Cable wires made Iloilo looks ugly, and no one seems to care to complain and seem we accepted the practice that way. Our Electricity came from Negros Occidental… probably there are a lot of System Charges that made more expensive rate, yeah the drainage system is eye sore in Iloilo … one thing Iloilo lacks… its conduct of road, drainage repair… even after repair it’s not thoroughly done… its not being clean… you can still see scattered rocks that left there waiting the rain to flushed them out.Reply
kirbs saysMay 12, 2011 at 11:47 pmElectricity from Negros? I hope you’ll start reading and get proper updates. Vic saysMay 11, 2011 at 10:46 am@ Lee you’re right anyway.. But would Ilongos Middle Class be contented to live as status Qou ? … our context here is– Iloilo as developing city, and Middle Class would live as Middle Class way of living, i mean.. they have food on the table, small but comfortable house as their own. it’s not American standard of living,,, that should be middle class living no matter you’re in Egypt, Germany or Philippines…we should not based our standard on America but to the comport of our citizenry… comfortable living is affordable though…Reply
kirbs saysMay 12, 2011 at 11:52 pmI can’t get anything out from your statements — what is middle class living? And what’s American standard? Can you expound all these middle class / mediocore standardisation? I live here in Europe and am not aware of middle class American living.Reply
Ming saysMay 10, 2011 at 1:17 pmHope the government will also invest in drainage system. Its a major problem that nobody seems to mind. Also restore the sidewalks around the city and take action to those ugly cable wires hanging lowly. Its not good in the eyes and also dangerousReply

Vic saysMay 8, 2011 at 5:43 pmIf Megaworld will hire employees — it does not guarantee they will have middle class homes even working in matter of 10-20 years. a standard salary for Hotel Attendant,Call Center Agent, Cashier in Malls is the minimum wage 400 and monthly salary is around 8,000, minus rent, 1000 the lowest, 100( approximate)per day is 3000= total 4000, budget the Fare to 500 the lowest per month, exorbitant such as groceries, ce phone load, toiletries etc are at 2,000—- as little as 500 will accounted as savings….. 500 Pesos is it enough to secure a mortgage house?–lets assume it is….you get a house of 40-80 Sq meters long lets say youre lucky or you preferred to get home that match your income, the least price, its worth 500,000 and started to pay it monthly, 500 multiply it to 12 months — its 6000,,,,it takes 83 years for you to pay it off…lets assume you share the mortgage with your wife or husband… it still takes 40 years for both of you to totally paid off…if you’re aged 25 when you started paying….you wait till 65 until you own your home, and houses are apt to wear and youll start to renovate it after 5 years ( paint plumbing, electrical, garden, broken tiles , sagging wood panels, cracked paint, etc etc)in short.. it doesn’t guarantee decent livingReply

Vic saysMay 8, 2011 at 11:35 amWhile these development is good…. it’s not quite a good indicator or progress or prosperity of a City…..I believe the government has to focus on Housing Program, to build houses for People in the City like that in San Isidro Jaro where brick houses are being constructed and they will be funded by government, subsidized by philanthropical companies , aided by Congressman CDF , and many endeavors, and to make very affordable mortgage system.. with that we will be assured that Most inhabitants of iloilo are living in decent homes and we can truly be proud of Iloilo…In Foreign National Discriminatory Perspective….we are living in slums …Reply
Rey saysMay 8, 2011 at 1:53 pmSus… That’s why we are creating jobs first for the Ilonggos para madula na ina…. With more jobs comes higher purchasing powers. We can’t focus on housing yet since majority of the Ilonggos are unemployed.
