It will be named as MEDICUS MEDICAL CENTER, ground breaking somewhere in May 2011 (1st quarter of the year) and hopefully be operational by the end of 2011 or early 2012, It will be a 100-beds tertiary hospital. People are disappointed because it will be only 6 floors as opposed to 9 floors. My sleep lab will be set up in their existing medical condo-clinic building 7th floor and will be functional by summer 2011. I will be coming back to Iloilo for good, Marcos…yeheey!!!Reply Vic saysJanuary 7, 2011 at 3:38 pmIts a outstanding plan to build hospital in iloilo to make iloilo as center-stage in health care and to decongest other Medical Centers, however, there’s one vital component, The Corporation should first to comply/acquire the ” Certificate of Need” from the Government firstly. When it will be issued… their plan will be materialized…Government will determine through technical assessment, If its necessary to build hospital for Iloilo CityReply Ken saysJanuary 4, 2011 at 8:06 pmI agree with you all.. we need hospitals that are less expensive and comprehensive in giving care to those who in need.. kag damo na daan nurses sa iloilo city nga wala pa guid ubra… this will be a great opportunity to many people..hopefully, the proposed hospital will be world class in terms of care, facilities and equipments, services, nurses and doctors.. big parking space for the hospital and more rooms would be appropriate and less expensive..Reply ryan saysJanuary 4, 2011 at 2:51 pmGood news ni kay kanami sang site nila on the real thing we can promote medical tourism man tani dira sa iloilo if our hospitals will be internationally acclaimed or certified. ISO and JCI certified nga mga facilities will be of great deal kay buot ya hambalon we are qualified to give care in an international standard. Hope to see more. salamat Marc for posting.Reply Robert Hammerslag saysJanuary 4, 2011 at 1:45 pmThat’s good news. Iloilo could really use more hospital rooms. Many of its existing hospitals are often full and clinics overcrowded.Reply
