I have to go to IKEA to research for space saving designs. WOW! My unit in Glen is ideal space for IKEA designs..Check it out guys. These houses in Glen is not for growing family, too small to squeezed 4 bodies in a toilet size space.Reply Vic saysAugust 9, 2011 at 9:04 amThe reality is no matter where you are living …. things would come the least you expect it…especially in burglary … The best thing is to secure you houses, especially when you have to leave your home for considerable time or period of time… you have to secure your valuables such as jewelries, cash , lock all your doors before you leave, Robbers are keen and monitor every step you make when you’re in this middle-class neighborhood , he just know when you are out-of-town , what time you departs and arrives , if you have aquarium with expensive fishes , put it inside your house, if your air-con is easy-to-dismantle from your window… that’s what the robbers usual passageway, better to be prepared than sorryReply Lyn saysAugust 8, 2011 at 6:17 pmWe have a house in Savannah Glen. We have not encountered any problem since the day we inquired about the subdivision. If given enough money, I’d like to buy another house because the community is peaceful, clean and very nice to live in. I can’t think of any negative thing to say about Savannah.Reply Vic saysMay 28, 2011 at 11:01 pm@skewer….. thanks for the infoReply Skewer saysMay 28, 2011 at 10:17 pmI don’t recommend Savannah. They are just good in marketing. Nice photos, nice accomodation when youre still inquiring and checking out the subdivision. But after you pay, and sign the contract, they delay construction. Then what happens after you follow up the status of your house construction? the engineers will be elusive and they’ll hide from you whenever you visit their office. So much for customer service and after sales service. Kasi nga gaya ng tao you cannot put a good subdivision down.Reply Carlo saysJanuary 12, 2011 at 10:49 amI’m from Quezon City, been living there since birth, but I want to retire with my family in Iloilo, and we just bought a house in Savannah Trails. I love the place, its not without its defects or shortcomings but I believe Savannah are among the best subdivision I have seen so far. Savannah is not perfect but for me it will do, the rest perhaps its up to the homeowners to improve.Reply lloyd444 saysSeptember 18, 2010 at 8:13 pmi love savannah. i own 2 houses there actually. one for my family and for my parents. i don’t see a problem with it. the thieves issue was true years ago when the area was still starting out construction. obviously, hindi pa stable ang security nila dati noong 2006 and nung earlier years nila. pero ngayon… okay na.. marami na kasing tao.. safe na safe.Reply juan saysAugust 18, 2010 at 10:56 pmam paying for a drina house in glen..but shit, just found out ur comments, too late, havent seen the place, someone jst got me into it, im a fool. thieves, dogs, stupid permits. savannah carries a good name, but its really diffrent wen u hear it from the inside..but what cn i do?Reply jay saysMarch 25, 2010 at 5:47 pmWe recently bought a house in Glen…and it sucks bigtime… if i were you, don’t buy a house here. These are the reasons why you should not buy a house here: 1. The community is built on top of an agricultural land, thus, the foundations are not stable. Most of the houses we viewed have HUGE cracks on the walls…either the house is made of substandard materials, or the construction is faulty. 2. They have stupid regulations. Everything you get in and out of the subdivision has to be secured with a permit (e.g. if you want a bed delivered to your house, you have to secure a permit, otherwise, it won’t be allowed inside). How stupid is that? The proper thing to do would be to secure permit for things being brought OUTSIDE of the subdivision. Plus, there are still reports of theft inside. Theory is, it’s an inside job… 3. They are very strict with securing building permits. The reason for this is that you are not allowed the artistic freedom to tamper/add with the house you bought. IMAGINE, SECURING A BUILDING PERMIT AND PAYING A 10,000.00 BOND FOR CONSTRUCTING A 2 METER KITCHEN EXTENSION. Plus, you have to get permits from the Oton government for construction, (hence, additional payments), secure a floor plan and blueprint, etc. etc. This is the reason why many buyers backed out. And yeah, if you want to put up a fence around your house, you have to pay a bond of 1,000 pesos…etc. etc. 4. Dogs are roaming the streets. If you happen to run over a hapless dog, you get off without penalty–this is because responsible pet ownership entails collaring your dog in your own yard. Roadkill! 5. just don’t buy a house here. you’ll add wrinkles on your face, not to mention a huge dent in your bank account.Reply gameboyash saysMay 6, 2010 at 7:15 ami quite agree with JAY!!! same thing to me they have a bloody ridiculous regulations and also even if you buying a lot there they charge you a full even you dont live there you still paying this homeowners maintenance fee whatever it is called.so if i were you dont be tempted by the adverts in savannah…would rather keep my money go on holiday and even have botox to flatten my wrinkles lol.Reply beb saysFebruary 1, 2010 at 3:29 ampwede e post nyo ang floor plan sang Elaiza model?Reply JO saysJune 30, 2009 at 1:49 amILOILO IS JUST PLAIN BEAUTIFUL!
