Does anyone know the updated contact number of Raymen’s aside from the landline? Been contacting the smart number but it is out of service. Thanks a lot!!Reply Vic saysApril 7, 2012 at 12:55 pm( Help Desk Center) It’s vacation time. Raymen nearest Gas Stations are two located at the junction road. Nearest Vulcanizing shop stood nearby and another one are plaza. Hydraulic is located 1 km before the town uphill.Reply Ark saysMarch 13, 2012 at 8:26 amPros -Quiet, clean, private and accessible location -Rates are affordable -Can cook your own food / There’s a grill customers can use -Toiletries and snacks available insideCons -Not that much to do except swimming and renting a small boat -Staff could be more accommodating -They confuse our orders and quite a few errors on our billWe have been there several times and the place doesn’t seem to change nor does the quality of service. It’s an adequate place for a quick weekend get away though.Reply Carla saysMarch 12, 2012 at 11:40 amGood Day Marcos! I found it to be spectacular.Reply derpchan saysOctober 14, 2011 at 12:33 pmYou people posting your questions about the resort are incredibly ridiculous. This is a blog, not the website for the resort.Do people even have any reading comprehension or read the title of the site? Just had to get that off.Raymen’s is peaceful, quiet and most of their clientele are students or professionals doing some seminar or team building what have you. I agree with most of the post stating that the management is crappy and the accommodations are frankly crap. We went there as students so it doesn’t really make me that irate but I would never bring my family here.Reply Alex saysOctober 29, 2011 at 8:42 pmI agree with you…this is a blog not Raymen’s website (kawawa naman si Marcos nito, he is the one who is blamed for this infact, he posted these information for everybody’s sake).I have been to Raymen’s countless times, may mga weakness sila but think about why you are there para hindi ma-spoil bakasyon nyo!Reply Seair saysOctober 7, 2011 at 2:13 amwow, really reasonable rates! will definitely keep this in mind when i visit iloilo!Reply betty lopez saysOctober 3, 2011 at 1:35 amIve been to Guimaras but only to see the mango farms(their mangoes are the best).I think they should develop the island as a beach destinationReply hersh saysSeptember 23, 2011 at 1:02 pmi will vouch and agree to the above comments. Just recently, we visited the very beautiful breathless Alubijod beach at Guimaras. Sadly Raymen beach resort is the only place where we can spend the night at.This is just an additional complain. :DWe chose to occupy the room for P1,350 where the front desk officer said it has HOT&COLD water. So, we checked in at 2pm. Unfortunately, after we paid, we just found out the HOT&COLD water at CR is not working. (Payatot pa naman ako at lamig na lamig tuloy ako sa tubig!!) hahaThe next day, we woke up early to experience island hopping. We headed to the front desk to pay P400. After 30minutes of waiting, the person in charge for the pumpboat did not yet arrive. Later then we found out that there was a miscommunication between the staff. So we just got a refund and decided to hire other person who offers island hopping service (Amboa Island Hopping, the old guy was really kind and cool but has grudges too to Raymen where he formerly worked lol).Lastly, even if we checked in at 2pm, they have a policy that the check out time is 12nn. Im not sure why is that. I forgot to ask since they did not even say THANK YOU FOR COMING when we left!PS The beach and island hopping itself is relaxing and a very nice experience.. I just hope someone will build a resort for this beautiful place, and/or have a better accommodation.Reply Vic saysJuly 19, 2011 at 3:09 pm@all… after reading the comments… i said to myself..i wish i had never read the remarks at all..its all depressing….worst news ive ever read from a popular vacation place with a very hostile , in-hospitable accommodation from that evil-eye canteen despatsadora , to the nightmarish-reservation officer front desk and stuff who looks down on their guests … vacation is a moment when you want a time/and a place as calming to the spirit and making memories with your folks ….. but these seems turns out to be their worst nightmare … are they replaced ?… if not… i expect the worst… On the way to Nueva Valencia…. Im sure i need to have a turnoff and turn the way heading to Guisi … would you want somebody to spoil everything you have had earned for…?Reply juan saysJuly 19, 2011 at 10:23 amsa lahat po ng nag rereklamo pag pasensyahan nyo nalang po ang mga staff ng raymen nagkakaganyan sila kasi kulang yong pinag-aralan at kulang din sa training… ang na experience nyong lahat ng kabastosan na experience din namin yan… nakakabad trip nga eh..gusto mong mag relax pero aborido ka pagdating mo doon… nakaka turn-off…i have lots of friends na hindi na tumuloy dyan… darating din ang araw na wala ng pupunta dyan kong hindi nila palitan o e training yong mga staff dyan.. tama si bong pagdating mo dyan tingnan ka muna mula itaas hanggang ibaba kong sa tingin nila na marami kang pera ayan tudo entertain pag mukhang wala kang pera paktay iiwananan ka lang…for sure hindi alam ng may-ari ng resort na yan ang attitude ng mga staff nya… ano say mo annable? vicenta dies dies laffing…Reply Vic saysJuly 3, 2011 at 1:34 am@kate lan… it doesnt in real..the sand are like bigger and coarse….its not fine a pretty pale brown color … the water is not shallow too… very rugged cliffs and rocky roads…Reply Vic saysJuly 3, 2011 at 1:31 am@jovs.. i guess there’s none… If youre familiar a plenty over in Iloilo City area….”nipa huts for overnight stay”…from Oton all the way to Miag-ao… i dont have any idea too… (PG 18)Reply Vic saysJuly 3, 2011 at 1:28 am@Johnson Basanes… try to visit the falls in Jordan and Buenavista…. theres also Guisi in there very nice too…in i visited the remotest beach somewhere in Nueva Valencia too overlooking Pandan… very quite and tranquil….and a Resorts in Navalas…. lol…. having a nice experience and hopefully a good time in my next visit with friends in there…. hahahahaReply Johnson Basanes saysJuly 1, 2011 at 8:23 pmActually every year nasa guimaras ako. If you have any concerns or inquires pls. contact the resort directly with the provided contact details.Reply kim c. saysApril 3, 2010 at 8:17 pmhey MARCOS C. you cant blame the people giving comments here if they think that this site is part of explore iloilo. why dont you look at the upper part of the site where it posts an “explore iloilo” icon and look at the lower left part of the page where it says something about explore iloilo? basing it from there, people will only conclude that this page is part of explore iloilo. and another point, exactly! you said this post is only form information purposes. so, the ones who made this site should have included all the BASIC INFORMATION that the customers might need like for example, the room rates. why are you being so defensive? were you part of making this page? if so, consider this as a constructive criticism. you should do something about this page because it certainly lacks information. Marcos saysApril 15, 2010 at 11:05 amFirst off, I did not intend to act “defensively.” I was merely making a suggestion in a matter of fact manner. amai saysNovember 5, 2009 at 6:34 pmThe place itself is uber beautiful but i don’t think there hospitality is. Why?? Well me and my office mates went there last NOV.3, 2009 for supposedly team building. Never mind the very long (3 hours) waiting for a bangka from pulupandan port (negros) and tiresome 45 minute land travel via a van to sitio alubihod. We had traveled all the way from bacolod city to raymen beach resort for almost 8 agonizing hours (10am to 6pm). prior to that travel, Nov.1,2009 when we call them and made reservation and another call on the said morning of Nov.3 to confirm the reservation of 1 room good for 8 and another one good for 6 to be specific since we are all 16 including myself. Everything was fine along with reservation process and everything. If I may ask, how would you felt if you had traveled for that long and when finally your there booooom! They had given all the rooms to someone else!!!!Where are we staying guys? What will happen now? What is the resolution? What happened to our reservation? That is everybody’s question. POLITELY, we ask what happened and there you had this receptionist of raymen. She had given 2 inconsistent reasons, first the signal of their radio (walkie-talkie) is not good for them to coordinate with each other and the 2nd one is that they had missed a look on the reservation log sheet they had. Instead of apologizing and making some arrangements for our stay…. what she did is walking away from us and never came back. Bastosan ba ito?? Is this a good customer service? Are we the only customers of yours that had experienced this? This place is very dear in the heart of bacolodnon. If you want to be successful on this business please take care of your customers business. To Raymen owner please hire polite and professional employees.Reply rosas saysJanuary 12, 2012 at 9:10 pmyes!!!!!!!!! we have experienced this kind of hospitality! a week ago, my family been in raymen..we’re supposed to stay there for 5 days but because of the KABASTUSAN of the staffs, we decided to transferred in Costa Aguada and stayed there.why not try Costa Aguada guys..i give you 100% assurance.the resort is soooo pretty..its really a good place for people who seeks a paradise-like place.Reply Ria saysFebruary 1, 2012 at 7:48 amHi,Im looking for a place to stay in this Feb at Guimaras. James saysOctober 23, 2009 at 2:31 pmActually, beach at Raymens isn’t white sand. It’s yellowish/beige. Nice place. Spend a few hundred bucks to rent a banca to take you to the turtle sanctuary, i think a 20 minute ride to some island. Take pictures with the pawikan. In case the tourism desk offers other trike drivers, insist that you have been recommended to Kuya Dodeng. Ark saysMarch 13, 2012 at 8:26 amPros -Quiet, clean, private and accessible location -Rates are affordable -Can cook your own food / There’s a grill customers can use -Toiletries and snacks available insideCons -Not that much to do except swimming and renting a small boat -Staff could be more accommodating -They confuse our orders and quite a few errors on our billWe have been there several times and the place doesn’t seem to change nor does the quality of service. It’s an adequate place for a quick weekend get away though.Reply

derpchan saysOctober 14, 2011 at 12:33 pmYou people posting your questions about the resort are incredibly ridiculous. We went there as students so it doesn’t really make me that irate but I would never bring my family here.Reply
Alex saysOctober 29, 2011 at 8:42 pmI agree with you…this is a blog not Raymen’s website (kawawa naman si Marcos nito, he is the one who is blamed for this infact, he posted these information for everybody’s sake).I have been to Raymen’s countless times, may mga weakness sila but think about why you are there para hindi ma-spoil bakasyon nyo!Reply

hersh saysSeptember 23, 2011 at 1:02 pmi will vouch and agree to the above comments. I just hope someone will build a resort for this beautiful place, and/or have a better accommodation.Reply
Vic saysJuly 19, 2011 at 3:09 pm@all… after reading the comments… i said to myself..i wish i had never read the remarks at all..its all depressing….worst news ive ever read from a popular vacation place with a very hostile , in-hospitable accommodation from that evil-eye canteen despatsadora , to the nightmarish-reservation officer front desk and stuff who looks down on their guests … vacation is a moment when you want a time/and a place as calming to the spirit and making memories with your folks ….. but these seems turns out to be their worst nightmare … are they replaced ?… if not… i expect the worst… On the way to Nueva Valencia…. Im sure i need to have a turnoff and turn the way heading to Guisi … would you want somebody to spoil everything you have had earned for…?Reply

makmak saysFebruary 3, 2011 at 5:29 pmRaymen’s is good at squeezing juices out their customer’s pocket. Beware of the old hag that hosts their canteen, her eyes only blink when you have a good cash and reputable look. They are really not hospitable and their attitude is just a disgrace for guimaras’ advocacy of welcoming those who visit the island.Reply

For the owner of this resort, i maybe suggest that next tym u hire a personnel of this resort, try to chose one with gud manner and behavior and well oriented for dealing with customers so that ur customers will stay and be back again.Reply

stephen saysDecember 15, 2009 at 9:05 pmjudging from what i have read here, the management does not seem to be taking any efforts to reply to clients’ inquiries or complains. it’s a sad thing to be posting your place in the internet & never bother to tackle your clients’ queries or complaints. seeing this web site got me excited as i was looking for a place to wallow this christmas. thanks for making me look elsewhere.Reply
Marcos C. saysDecember 15, 2009 at 9:14 pmHey Stephen,Explore Iloilo is not affiliated with Raymen Beach Resort, this post is only for informational purposes. If you have any concerns or inquires pls. contact the resort directly with the provided contact details.Reply
kim c. saysApril 3, 2010 at 8:17 pmhey MARCOS C. you cant blame the people giving comments here if they think that this site is part of explore iloilo. why dont you look at the upper part of the site where it posts an “explore iloilo” icon and look at the lower left part of the page where it says something about explore iloilo? basing it from there, people will only conclude that this page is part of explore iloilo. and another point, exactly! you said this post is only form information purposes. so, the ones who made this site should have included all the BASIC INFORMATION that the customers might need like for example, the room rates. why are you being so defensive? were you part of making this page? if so, consider this as a constructive criticism. you should do something about this page because it certainly lacks information.
To Raymen owner please hire polite and professional employees.Reply
rosas saysJanuary 12, 2012 at 9:10 pmyes!!!!!!!!! we have experienced this kind of hospitality! a week ago, my family been in raymen..we’re supposed to stay there for 5 days but because of the KABASTUSAN of the staffs, we decided to transferred in Costa Aguada and stayed there.why not try Costa Aguada guys..i give you 100% assurance.the resort is soooo pretty..its really a good place for people who seeks a paradise-like place.Reply
Ria saysFebruary 1, 2012 at 7:48 amHi,Im looking for a place to stay in this Feb at Guimaras. Hope you can help us find a place to stay for 2-3 days. Initially I was looking to stay at Raymens but no ones answering my messages and calls… any nice hotels will do!Thanks in advance!
You can also also do some snorkling.Reply

heart9j saysMarch 31, 2012 at 10:53 pmin bacolod drs no boat direct to guimaras, but in the town of pulupandan (which is 30kms south of bacolod and 45 – 1 hr drive), you can ride a boat direct to guimaras, they have trips 3x a day from 8am, 10am, 12nn, and sometimes 3pm if peak season and the weather is good. the fare is just 60pesos and its 45 – 1hr ride. when you reach guimaras, there will be jeepneys and vans available to ride just ask where u want to go and they will guide you what to ride……Reply
